            In January 2022, I bought early-bird tickets for the Beyond Van Gogh event. My tickets were for February 19, 2022. My mother-in-law told, who had also purchased tickets, told me about 3 weeks later that the show had been postponed until May because the venue was double booked and that the company was allowing everyone to reschedule their tickets. I never received any notification from the company themselves. On March 26, I tried to go into their online ticketing system to exchange my tickets but the system would not allow it. I reached out to them through email and they said that I had missed the window for free exchanges (which ended March 14) and would have to pay an $8 fee to exchange my useless tickets. I explained that I had received no notification of any exchange dates and should not have to pay additional money to use the tickets that I purchased in good faith. Through a series of back-and-forth emails they stated that they would absolutely make no exceptions to this policy and that I must pay the fee if I want to attend the event. They also refused to refund my tickets. They said if I wanted to use my tickets, I had to email them with my preferred new dates/times and they would do the exchange for me after charging me the exchange fee. At that time, I opted not to exchange. On May 30, I emailed them again to say that I would pay their predatory rescheduling fee as I did not want to entirely waste the money we had already given to them. I also didn't want to deprive my young son of the experience. They said that I had buy new tickets and then they would refund me the value of the old tickets minus their exchange fee. I had originally purchased the tickets with an early-bird discount, so I asked if they could provide me with a code to apply the same discount to the new tickets. They refused and said I must pay the higher price and would only refund the discounted price. The total for the tickets was now 1/3 higher than I originally paid. This seems criminal.

            They canceled the event at the last minute. I didn’t get a notification and the timing of the rescheduled dates simply do not work for me. I cannot access my account- they are stating that it is my fault because I must have entered my email incorrectly and have referred me to their third party ticket service, stated that they will return my email in a timely manner, but it has been over a week and still no response from them. Others (presumably who didn’t have the same issue with their email address needing to be reset) have stated difficulties getting their money refunded (also due to the last minute cancellation) on ****** reviews. I have emailed this company numerous times and they are not accountable and unwilling to help me. Instead, they blame me for the typo and shirk any responsibility, placing it all on the third party ticket company. I just want my refund and for this company to be oriented to the fact that part of their responsibilities is to provide customer service to their customers. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a refund when the organizer changes the event with such short notice.

They said I can't have a refund and must purchase two more tickets of equal or greater value, but only for a weekend or public holiday as that is when my original ticket was scheduled for. Then they will refund the original amount. I don't want to pay them any more money as they won't refund my initial payment and I don't trust that they will refund me at all.

            Purchased tickets January 17, 2022 for an art show scheduled March 6, 2022. The organizers cancelled and rescheduled the show. None of the new dates are acceptable to me and the organizers are refusing to refund the purchase price.
