Hello! We took our jetski to Ffun to be fixed was charged $1500 but the issue was not resolved. Took the jetski back to fun was told it was a different problem and it would be an additional $2000. The jetski has been there for a month as they are now waiting for a rench from ******** to fix the issue. Discussed trading in the jetski for a motorbike and was told they would give us $12,000 and not have to pay the current cost to fix the jetski. Are now being told they will only give $10,200 for a trade in! We already paid them $1500 for not fixing the issue.

looked into the customer concerns.  the Jet ski was in previously for a bent shift linkage for the reverse system and a runability concern.  The engine was found to have way too much oil in it and the extra oil was removed to make it the correct level.  engine was run up in the shop multiple times.  customer declined paying the extra time to water test the machine on a lake to test operations.  Machine did run great in the shop.  this repair was requested by the customer.  most of the repair was the damaged reverse cable repair.  Which was an authorized repair by the customer

Currently repair is the supercharger belt failed and wrapped around the driveshaft of the engine.  To replace this belt the engine must be removed from the  hull to gain access to replace the belt.  a specialty tensioning tool is required to set the belt tension on the super charger belt.  If the belt is not tensioned correctly the supercharger will not operate correctly. This specialty tool is imperative to the repair of this machine.  The tool for this machine was on back order when ordered but should be in soon to allow us to repair. This particular failure is not common and the specialty tool has not been needed until this repair on this machine.  The trade value is set by our sales team and that is the value placed on that machine at this time.

We can not refund the previous bill due to it being for a separate concern on the machine.
