            This company installed an HVAC system in my house in 2013. The initial installation was very poor, and they had to make several trips over the next few weeks to correct it. Then the A/C would not maintain a charge or even when charged would not adequately cool. They told me this was because it was installed in the attic. Finally in 2017 they admitted the coil was probably damaged during installation and for $250 they would replace it. I paid this and at least the system would hold a charge afterwards, although it still could not keep up with days over 90 degrees. When I began using the A/C this year, it was hardly cooling at all. I called a different company who found the leak and repaired it, then diagnosed the poor output and determined the blower settings had NEVER BEEN SET CORRECTLY. When the tech made the blower adjustment, the unit began cooling like it never had, even when brand-new. I shudder when I think of how much money I've wasted in excess power, and nine years of inadequate cooling. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would, but suffice it to say, avoid this company at all costs!

            I had a tuneup service done on my heating and air system and my heat pump with them from a deal I purchased on Groupon I think. My systems at the time was no more than seven years old and the technician said the heat pump system was about to fail, and I needed to replace it. I had it looked at by another company and they said there was nothing to replace it. Just needed to be tuned up. Upon further reading I also found that one should be careful with freedom because they recommend big services that are not necessary for their own benefit.

            I have used this company for 20 plus years and spent thousands of dollars. I pay for a service package for them to come out twice a year. When the service tech came out the first of December he set in the truck most of the time he was here. Told me things he thought needed to be done to the system but couldnt put that on paper. Said he would get back on Monday. Friday came and I contacted the company letting them know I would like a print out to what the tech found. He sent me a proposal to fix about 3 different things. Some was not even discussed on the service. He had said he would contact me on Monday and I finally called on Friday wanting to know what the tech found.I told the gentleman at the office theirs no way the tech did my service because he was in his truck more than looking at my units.It has been since December 23rd and have not heard back from anyone so I contacted the office again the first of this week and still nothing.Not a way to treat a customer that has been doing business for over 20 years with Freedom.

            I ordered a brand new hvac system from them and it hasn’t worked right since and I’m paying **** dollars for it they keep sending somebody out yo put free on in it this been going on for three months straight I don’t appreciate there service they giving me it’s unexceptionable for all this money I’m paying

            Had this company install new duct work in my house in 2018. They signed me up for a tuneup service I didn't ask for. Since I apparently already paid for it I let them perform service. I never had problems from my air conditioner prior to service, but after it stopped working immediately after their "tuneup" they didn't know how to fix and would not make it right other than charging me more to do nothing. I found a random guy in my neighborhood to look at it and he had it working same day. Couple years later I noticed the "upsold" high quality duct work had fallen off and I was air-conditioning my crawlspace. They came and repaired it and since it had a lifetime warranty, did not ask for payment. Fast forward to today. The duct work has fallen off again. When I called to schedule repairs they said I had an outstanding balance not paid from the last repair and they would not come until it was paid. I paid it and when the tech showed up, he looked at the problem, asked for an ADDITIONAL FEE to drive out to my house. Said someone would call me to schedule the actual service and left. I called the next morning asking to speak to a manager since no one fixed anything and no one has called me, and I've been ghosted. Terrible company, terrible quality, terrible customer service.

            I would give them negative stars if I could. My AC unit would not power on. They came out and took of the side panel, took pictures and told me I needed a new unit. I told them I just started a new job and was wondering what the cost of repair would be. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was given an estimate of **** dollars to repair and **** or **** to replace. I had my daughter's boyfriend look at it. He's a plumber, within 10 minutes he found a loose power wire on the motor. Plugged in and my AC is back running. Avoid this company, Liars and thieves.
