Arizona Department of Justice v Jose Teran

On February 3, 2023, Jose Teran, the owner of MediaMuv L.L.C entered into a plea agreement with the Arizona Department of Justice. The plea agreement settles allegations that Jose Teran plead guilty to conspiracy, wire fraud, and transactional money laundering. Jose Teran admitted to conspiring to monetize music on YouTube that he had no lawful rights to, or control over. Under terms of the plea agreement, Jose Teran was sentenced to 70 months of prison.
