On April 6, 2022, Cash Time Loan Centers entered into a Consent Order with the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation . The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated California Financing Law by contracting to receive charges at rates that exceed the interest rate cap. Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to pay an administrative penalty of $3,500.00 and provide refunds to consumers.
