Pattern of Complaints
BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints. Specifically, customers allege they are receiving phone calls from the company indicating there is a civil case against them for a previous debt they owe. The company provides consumers with a case number as reference for the collection. Consumers have also indicated the company does have some of their sensitive personal information. The company prompts consumers to pay for the debt over the phone or they will be taken to court. Some consumers indicated they contacted the original creditor and they tell consumers they have no record of the debt and have not forwarded to the Offices of Franklin & Stone. On December 27,2017 BBB notified the business of our concerns and requested their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of consumer complaints. As of today, the business has not responded to our request.
