          It is our understanding that this business is not licensed with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) as required. California law requires businesses performing landscaping work where the combined cost of labor and materials exceeds $500 to be licensed. Online reviews allege that the business is performing jobs that exceed the $500 limit for unlicensed work and is accepting down payments in excess of CSLB regulations - down payments for home improvement contracts can be only $1000 or 10% of the total cost, whichever is less.

          We contacted the business on April 2, 2018 and April 10, 2018, requesting that they provide their licensing information or plans for obtaining a license. As of today's date, we have not received a response to our request.
