On September 29, 2022, Allan Radam entered into a Consent Order with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. The Consent Order settles allegations that Allan Radam violated the law by requesting and receiving advanced fees for debt relief. Under terms of the Consent Order Allan Radam has been ordered to desist and refrain from violating financial laws including without limitation by requesting and receiving advance fees for debt relief services. Under the terms of the Consent Order, Allan Radam has been ordered to pay a penalty of $367,500.00.

The following describes a government action that has been resolved by either a settlement or a decision by a court or administrative agency. If the matter is being appealed, it will be noted below.
On October 05, 2023, Student Loan Advocates LLC entered into a Stipulation to Entry of (Proposed) Stipulated Order for Permanent Injunction, Monetary Relief, and Other Relief with the Federal Trade Commission. The Stipulation to Entry of (Proposed) Stipulated Order for Permanent Injunction, Monetary Relief, and Other Relief settles allegations that the the business is in violation of federal law prohibiting Deceptive Representations, Advance Fee for Debt Relief Services, Material Debt Relief Misrepresentation, and the Use of False, Fictitious, or Fraudulent Statements to Obtain or Attempt to Obtain Customers’ Customer Information of a Financial Institution. Under terms of the Order, the business was ordered to permanently restrain and enjoin from misrepresenting, or assisting others in misrepresenting, expressly or by implication relating to any products or services. Additionally, the business was ordered to be prohibited against making unsubstantiated claims and from obtaining customer information by false pretenses. Lastly, the business was ordered to pay monetary judgment and a partial suspension in the amount of $5,882,072.04.
