I received a bill July 15, 2024 in the amount of $174. Nothing is in the description. It looks like a legitimate bill. There is no email or website address listed on the bill. We havent had a Saveway delivery in over 22 years. Im beginning to believe that Saveways customer database has gotten hacked in someway. Ive called dozens of times. No response whatsoever. It is a legitimate phone number. Im just trying to get some answers.

The first time we had to replace our water tank was in October of 2019. The total for parts and labor was $2,125. The work was done by Saveway Petroleum Inc The tank only lasted 2 years. We had to replace the tank again in December 2021, at that time we were informed that Purepro would replace the tank, but they would have to put in the same exact type of tank even though they knew the tanks were defective. There was no charge for the installation because the unit was still under warranty. In October of 2023 the tank had to be replaced yet again this time Saveway informed me that I was going to be responsible for parts and labor which totaled $836.41. At that time they suggested that we put in a pressure reduction valve which we were responsible to pay for. The total for that was$450 and the work was done by a licensed plumber. The end result is we have another defective tank. The employee from Saveway told my son in law that they don't use *************** anymore because of the defective products, If this happens again we should consider replacing the whole water tank system with a brand new one from a different company which we would have to pay for this ourselves that is the only way we would get a warranty again. I feel that seeing Saveway knowingly was installing a defective tank that I shouldn't be responsible for parts or labor. They no longer use *************** because of the defective parts, I also feel that if Saveway Petroleum **** isn't responsible that the *************** should be for selling defective products.

We arranged for a delivery of $500 only via M*** He****. In our email conversation, M*** confirmed that we would only receive $500 worth of heating oil and he acknowledged we only had $500 to spend. We in fact received 218.5 gallons and were billed $917.48. We contacted the office and advised that we had received too much and could not pay more than $500. Nonetheless the full amount was debited from our bank account which made us a few hundred dollars overdrawn. We recently received a bill statement and we sent a $500 check as well as the full email trail with M***. The check was accepted by their office and was processed, the $500 left our account. On Saturday we received a further bill statement with an additional $10 charge for late payment of the $917.48.

This matter was forwarded to our District Manager (Paul) a few weeks ago.  He has since called and left messages for the customer 3 times including another call this morning.  He has not received a call back.  We have offered to pump the extra fuel out of the tank, but we need the customer to call our office and speak with Paul to set it up.  As a side note, we did offer to give the customer a heavily discounted rate on the oil and told them they could take as much time as they needed to pay the bill as the overfill was our mistake.
