          In September 2022, BBB contacted TLC Pet Sitting regarding claims in its advertising.  

          Its website includes the statement "Satisfaction Guaranteed." According to the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the terms guarantee or warranty the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details can be seen prior to sale. These details should disclose any material limitations on the guarantee or warranty. Advertisers should only use satisfaction guarantee or similar representations in advertising if the seller refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.  BBB asked the business if its policy includes a full refund of the purchase price and asked that they add the terms of the guarantee to their advertising or the statement “Guarantee terms available upon request,” but did not receive a reply.
