Not sure how they are with home owners and potential customers but my rating is as a contractor. Working through this company has been great and easy up until its time to pay us contractors out. Ive been mislead and not paid on time for three weeks now & once I asked to reach out directly to a supervisor or someone In charge of the payment process for contractors I was specifically told by Ms.****** that not every contractor gets the same PRIORITY, because they have about 30 different inspectors to attend to. Meaning if your a contractor working for this company they wont prioritize you & pay you on time. She says theyre a huge company with a lot of work & that this past week I purely just havent had the patience to wait for my direct deposit. Even though I turned everything in on time week prior and sent her the proof.Thats not an excuse & if theres so much work they should hire someone else to assist and make sure everyone gets paid on time. I use my own gas and time to go do these inspections and I expect & deserve to be payed ON TIME & prioritized as a worker the same way I prioritize these inspections when given and assigned to me.Mind you they state in the contract when hired that if you turn in an inspection later than two hours after its done, it could effect pay. So I prioritize and make sure to do these things by the book expecting the same back from such a huge company.Dont suggest working for them unless youre okay with not getting paid on time & deal with disrespectful employees who dont prioritize your hard work & time.

Very quick and easy. They did exactly what they said they would and were very trustworthy and professional. I would refer them to anyone who needs a fast, honest and reliable company.

Long short i sold them a property...there were alot of obstacles like code violations and probate that they had the ability and resources to quickly overcome... they were always confident and straightforward kept me informed the whole way,.. they handled the probate on the property and was a very fast process..special thanks to ****,******,****** and the rest of the team i may not have met that really made this happen..very transparent and professional..must mention very courteous and compassionate thanks everybody

I had an AWFUL experience with Meridian Trust. I was offered an all-cash offer on my property to begin with. Then, on the last day of due diligence at 11 pm, I was emailed a request for an extension, stating there was a problem with our title that they needed to investigate. The request had NO DATE on it, just an open-ended extension of the inspection period. I called the closing attorney who informed me the title had already come back clear. When I talked to the rep I was working with at Meridian, he told me he wasn't sure what was going on and would call me back. When he did, the story changed. He then stated that my property was high-risk for investors and that they had brought in a "partner" to help mitigate the risk. The next day, they said they wanted to assume my loan instead of paying cash. Then, when we found out that wasn't an option with our mortgage, they tried to force me into signing a "subject to" agreement that was proposed as a one-paragraph addendum to the original contract. All of this ate up 5 weeks of valuable time and a few thousand dollars of investment into the property we were going to purchase after closing.I got them to sign a termination agreement and hired a realtor. When she came to do the listing presentation, she already had pictures of my property because Meridian had started marketing my property for sale to other investors before they had even purchased it! These guys are sharks and prey on unsuspecting people. BEWARE! Go the traditional route. Good realtors know tons of **************. I found mine and was back under contract in 1 DAY and sold my house for tens of thousands more than what Meridian offered originally! I left one star because BBB wouldn't let me give them zero.
