Moved out on 3/7/24. Per lease agreements in the state of *******, tenant to be made aware of damages 15 days after move out. Refund to be issues by Day 30. Today at day 30 no refund provided, they refused to provide an employee to attend walk through, a random person showed up and refused to sign a paper indicating they are there to represent the company. Fast forward, still being told " adjustments being made, information pending", no concrete information or objective findings. This is very concerning as this falls in line with other complaints listed online. All criteria met per lease agreement on move out. I am a physician, I am an accountable individual and this company is taking advantage of a front line emergency room healthcare working. I have received no correspondence stating I will be provided with my refund 30 days after move out. Review demonstrates nefarious business practices by this company. Still owed refund security deposit. Have not received any information indicating that the security deposit is held in separate escrow as dictated by law and not mixed with other deposits. When asked, I was told after 3 weeks " we are working on it"

I rented from this company and was denied my deposit based on false claims. I was not provided any receipts for repairs of the property. Also, they did not cover the cost of running water and lawn maintenance as stated in the leasing agreement.

hello. we lived in an apartment that had to be repainted after moving out, which we did and we have all the evidence in the video and photographs that we repainted and cleaned the entire apartment. our deposit of $5500 is held by the company that manages this apartment. September 26 ended our lease. On October 24th I received an email saying that they are charging $1100 for the apartment not being painted properly. I asked for proof. On November 9, I received a letter with a new amount of $1560. On November 10, I received another letter that the amount had increased by $1710. i consulted with a lawyer who told me they are not allowed to increase the amount they asked to withhold in the first month which is $1100 all other increases are not legal.I attached the company address phone and person who spoke with us via email. I need you help please

I rented from this company for 3 years, paid rent on time, never missed a payment. I followed the move out instructions to the letter, even having several discussions with management team regarding paint and where to find it. Purchased the paint as required and painted the property as instructed. Clean the property thoroughly although I did not receive it that way. I was denied a walk through upon vacating. Now this company is trying to keep my entire deposit $1825 saying I did not paint the unit. Also, when I moved in my checklist indicating something was wrong with the closet door in 2nd room which was never addressed therefore we never used the closet. They are charging for that. Because I was denied the walk through I have videos detailing the condition of how I returned the unit. My videos show only one bulb not working, they are charging for 2. I was given permission to leave the remaining paint by the agent who collected the keys. Because I did not get a walk through, there is no telling what was done to the unit after I left it in perfect condition. I had a $200.00 refundable water deposit. I paid the final water bill as instructed by the office team. They kept my deposit for that too. They did not mail me any notification until the 30th day which was not received until the 32nd day. This company has a pattern based on previous reviews and complaints of trying to/keeping your deposits and because you are denied a walk through upon leaving there is no telling what the contractor does so they can keep you deposit(s). Please investigate this company as they are violating my rights as a former tenant and I now have to seek legal assistance to get my money back.

G&GJ International is a shady company. We rented an apartment and they happened to be property management company. We paid $1350 security deposit that they promised we would get back as long as we follow move out procedures and leave the place move in ready for next tenant. They required the unit painted and thoroughly cleaned, all holes patched etc which we did. We left the unit in better condition than it was when we moved in. My husband used to work in construction, he knows how to paint the walls, fix holes in the walls etc. We spent 2 days getting the apartment ready, cleaned everything really good only to find out almost a month later after we moved out that G&GJ International wants to deduct &980 out of our security deposit because we left the stove dirty supposedly and didnt paint the hallway closet which we did. Again, we followed every step on their move out procedures, painted and cleaned entire apartment. They wanted to scam us out of money and created a reason to keep most of our deposit. They want to give us back only &370 of our security deposit for a reason they lied about. They are dishonest and very unprofessional. This business is extremely shady as they exist by multiple names.
