          In April 2022, BBB completed an investigation into Southern Roof Systems.

          On April 5, 2022, BBB sent correspondence to Southern Roof Systems requesting they confirm whether or not the company was still in business as the website is inactive and the telephone number is not in service.  In addition, BBB requested the company provide proof of proper licensing.  As of July 28, 2022, BBB has not received a response from Southern Roof Systems.

          BBB will continue to monitor and update the company's report as needed.

          Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
          State of Florida vs Carl Davis Aaron. Case number 56-2022-cf-001102-A St. Luice County Court.

          As of July 27, 2022,

          Carl Davis Aaron of Southern Roof Systems has been charged by Port St.Lucie Police with FAILURE OF A CONTRACTOR TO PERFORM WORK, a Felony.  Aaron was charged after victims reportedly paid Southern Roof Systems to perform roofing work which was not completed.  Aaron's court case is ongoing at this time.
