Ad Review

In January 2021, BBB contacted Liberty Health Check to inquire about various advertising claims based on the Code of Advertising: Guidelines for Truth in Advertising from the Better Business Bureau. BBB requested the business substantiate their claims met the following standards:

1.0: Basic Principles of the Code

To date, BBB did not receive a response from the business to substantiate the below questions:

Please substantiate the following advertisement claims listed on your website. You may submit unbiased clinical studies showing data that supports the effectiveness of your tests:

1. "Working with an established sensitivity testing company, we have created a laboratory here in the United States of America. We believe in affordability, efficiency and security.

So send us your hair and let us do the rest! Testing your intolerances and sensitivities with no doctor's appointment!

Our non-invasive intolerance test uses the latest technology that only requires you to send a few strands of hair to us for analysis. You will get your results emailed in a PDF within 5 working days upon test receipt.

Our test is the most comprehensive test available for home use and tests your sample against over 880 different food and non food items (complete list here)! For example, we test foods such as wheat, gluten, dairy, lactose, and nuts as well as non-food items such as pollen, cat, and dust mites.

A non-invasive alternative to traditional intolerance and sensitivity testing and screening."

2. "We test hair. It's less invasive.
Our bioresonance testing uses hair samples to test against 750 food and non-food items. Hair is used for several reasons:
Less invasive - We only require a small hair sample.
Test more items - Bioresonance testing allows us to test against a larger number of items.
Fast results - Testing is completed quickly and efficiently.
Cost effective - Hair testing is faster in the lab and allows us to pass these savings onto our customers."
