    This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They do not come out to fix anything they do not show up on scheduled appointments. They continue to try to sell products to you. You cannot get a supervisor or anyone in charge to speak to about the lousy service you receive and are paying monthly for through your NIPSCO company. DO NOT PURCHASE any services from these people it is a SCAM. NO STARS

    We have had several power outages. One time we were the only ones in my city and it took them over 70 hours to come and fix it. We have just lost power again and we wont get it until next week. We have had 2 salt water fish tanks and they have died from being too hot. We are fed up with how slow it takes them to fix the power. We have elder neighbors on top of that and it is a safety concern. We have reported both of the power outages many times and they still take an abundance of time to fix the power.

    Ridiculous! Ive had no hot water for 2 days and they tell me they dont have anyone available until tomorrow. I pay $100s of dollars for this service and they DO NOT give good customer service! They need to get companies that can actually service the customers that pay big money EVERY month for thier services. I now have to be inconvenienced because they have no one that can service my issue.

    NIPSCO has not made their commitment to disconnect service at a blighted building next to my home. The house as been ordered by the courts to be demolished and NIPCSO is holding us up. Missed This Mondays appointment with no call no show!!!

    Minus five stars! I have been paying NIPSCO for years for this protection. I used it a three times in about 20 years. The joke was, I needed a "new" furnace every time I used it. The last time, I used it, November 2022, the furnace needed replaced. The Home Solutions **********, ******** company uses their contractors and their contractor MUST deem your furnace inoperable. The problem was "their contractor" price for a new furnace was $1200 above everyone else. I hired my choice since I'm paying not their choice and turned in a claim to Home Solutions. I received emails from Home Solutions saying they would pay me $250 to settle the claim. I accepted their offer A pittance compared to what I paid them over the years and what I paid the contractor for the new furnace. I NEVER RECEIVED A DIME...NOTHING. I received a long voicemail from someone from the company who spoke insurance policy language. I don't speak that language. I wrote them an email and they responded rudely that I never answered my phone. I sent another email and I got a nasty email back saying since I didn't answer the phone and never accepted the $250, they closed the claim. Here's the end of this ridiculous story. Despite Home Solutions promise of $250, I got absolutely NOTHING. This company is a pitiful joke and this is a NIPSCO sponsored scam. DONT JOIN THIS PROGRAM.

    NIPSCO Home Solutions now d/b/a ************ Solutions has continued to charge me a monthly fee via my NIPSCO utility bill even though I cancelled their service on July 2, 2022. They continued to bill me. I followed up with a call to them about the cancellation on September 28, 2022 regarding my cancellation request and their continued billing. The billing continues. On November 23, 2022 I reached out to NIPSCO (utility) appealing for their intercession to stop billing me for a service that I had cancelled in July. Their agent, ****** sent a notice to NIPSCO Home Solution's "escalation department" for follow-up. I received a call from NIPSCO Home Solutions (****) on November 29, 2022 (he had to leave a voicemail because I was not at home) and he followed up with another call on November 30, 2022. Long story short, he stated they had no record of my initial cancellation and I would owe them $365.50. Basically, he called me a liar. After some discussion, he became very rude and condescending. Refused to transfer me to a supervisor/manager. I called NIPSCO (utility) and ********** suggested I call them again to request a supervisor. That turned out to be a moot effort, because I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor. I was told that a supervisor contact was via a callback only. After taking my information and stating a callback request was completed (by ***) on December 2, 2022, I am still awaiting that callback. This is deplorable customer service and ****************** d/b/a ************ Solutions is attempting to charge me for a service that I cancelled months ago. I had NIPSCO Home Solutions service for more that fifteen (15) years and ultimately chose to cancel the service after they were bought by Pivotal because their service response and customer service became unacceptable! I would like assistance in resolving their claim that I owe them any funds!!!

    Have had Nipsco Esp plan for years. Called them on Sunday dt a furnace not working. They said someone would be out in 4 hours. 5 hours later no one showed. We called back , their customer service could not understand my problem then suggested we just pay for repairs out of pocket and we would be reimbursed. No one available at 9pm on a Sunday. So we called a 3rd time and they guaranteed a tech would be out today. I called the tech who number I was given. She said their company denied the Nipsco claim and would not honor the service call. At this point we will be paying 100% out of pocket and stopping all Nipsco add on services as they cannot service them.

    I ordered NIPSCO Home Solutions coverage for my wqter line and sewer line. I sold my house and transferred my NIPSCO service to an apartment. I thought NIPSCO would cancel my coverage as the apartment complex now covers the water and sewer line maintenance. WRONG. Continued to get billed for the service Called NOISCO who did nothing Finally got the number for NIPSCO Home Solutions. Firtst they hung up on me when I wanted to cancel service. Called back and finally stayes on with the agent. They WOULD NOT issue any credit for months I didnt need the service and I had to agree to pay until the end of the next service period!!!! Agent gave me a cancellation number but when I tried to verify cancellation he would only give me his first name and no ID number. Sure hope it is actually cancelled as Im pretty certain NIPSCO wont take it off my ****.. BEWARE this company doesnt seem to have much interest in keeping customers happy!!!

    I noticed that I had $10.99 monthly charge on my NIPSCO **** even though I thought I had cancelled the coverage years ago because I could not get reimbursed for a covered furnace outage. When I went to the website for Home solutions, it said that I had no coverage. I then started a chat with them and the customer service rep confirmed that I had no coverage. When I asked why I was being charged $10.99/month, they then suddenly found the service under another account number, but same name and address. The rep then said that I could not cancel the service unless I agreed that I was responsible for the charges for the rest of the month. I have the chat log with the rep.
