On June 28, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11(b)(1)(6)(8)(9); 326B.84 (1)(2)(4)(7)(8)(11)(14)(15)(16) and 326B.86, subd. 2 (2020) and Minn. Rules 2891.0040, subps. 1C, 1D and1F, and 2891.0050, subp. 1C (2021). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to revocation of their license and qualifying builder registration for Mr. Hemingson and to cease and desist from acting as or claiming to be a residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer in Minnesota. The business also agreed to cooperate with customers and DLI when making claims against the builder's recovery fund. The penalty of $75,000.00 was stayed on the condition that the business complies with the Consent Order. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
