What a scam. My husband and I parked in a ****************** in ********* a few weeks ago. We were going to check out a nearby open house. Paid $9 (!) for one hour via some weird app. There are no gates either at the entrance or the exit. Well, 2 weeks later we received a "ticket" from Municipal Parking Services in *********** (haven't been to NO in decades) saying we hadn't paid for parking and slapping on a fine with a threat to jack it up if we didn't pay within two weeks. Our car is fairly new and registered only in my husband's name. How the **** did this private company connect *my* name ("ticket" was addressed to me) and address to the license plate? I found that a Baltimore TV station had done a story about this scam a year ago. We didn't pay the ticket, and sure enough, we got another one yesterday (for the same "violation") with an even higher fine. I'll never do business in *********** again, and I'm planning to contact Maryland consumer protection folks about this scam (oddly, the second ticket came from Municipal Parking Services in *******, MD, which I picture as simply a Mailboxes, Etc.). Glad to see all the other comments on the BBB website. I've read that this is illegal in **********, and I hope to encourage ******** to follow suit.Review from Ed T

Price gouging scam, hq in ******, billing in *********, and office in *********. they seem to try to ***** every car for $100. they transform normal parking lots into surprise billing gouging lots. normal lots will charge you a small normal fee for overstaying by a few minutes or parking without a ticket. this company will ***** you for $100 for 20 minutes in an otherwise empty lot. they say "cloud based" but really, they're not using that tech to scale prices according to demand, they aren't using it for accuracy or to gather data on how to improve, they're using it for gouging unwitting locals. it's always locals getting gouged. don't use this service if you are a lot owner. the vandalism and online shaming is not beneficial to business. these ppl are con artists waiting to be shut down.Review from San M

Complaint Regarding Fraudulent Invoice for Parking Violation I received an unsolicited invoice requesting $65 by 9/20 or $105 after that date for alleged parking at ***************************************. I never received a ticket at this location, yet there is a ticket number on the invoice. The invoice provides no contact informationno phone number, email, or physical addressexcept an option to pay online or by mailing a check to a PO Box in ***********, ***I am concerned this may be a scam. I am uncomfortable using my credit card or check to pay without verifying the legitimacy of the company, and I fear this could lead to fraudulent activity on my accounts.I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed in addressing this potential scam.Review from Richard W

I want to share an unfortunate experience I had with this private parking technology company. After I paid for parking at one of their facilities, they claimed that my car had a different license plate than the one registered in the app. I appealed this issue by providing evidence of my payment and explaining the new plates on my car. However, my appeal was unsuccessful, and the company insisted that I pay the fine. They used aggressive tactics such as threatening collections, booting, and towing to force me to pay. It's frustrating that there is no way to speak with them in person, and it seems like they are only concerned with their final word. I've attempted to resolve the matter by submitting a written appeal and seeking legal advice, but all I receive in return are more intimidating letters with additional fines. It's disappointing that this company is unwilling to work with people to resolve issues and instead chooses to resort to punitive measures. Their behavior seems unethical, and it's certainly an unpleasant experience dealing with them.Review from Devin P

This place is sorry as hell! They JUST came over into downtown ********* and are fraudulently ticketing cars in parking lots where they werent before! The local parking ordinance wasnt supposed to start until August 1st and they think they make their own rules. I submitted an appeal OVER a well ago, emailed and called and have gotten NO REPLY OR RESPONSE. This company are CROOKS!Review from Maria F

The Whole Foods garage in Downtown *****. This is also a location for Amazon returns. The Amazon return hours aren't consistent and are not posted anywhere online. The store is always crowded, lines are always long. Return lockers are always out of order. My last return required calling Amazon but there's no signal inside. The management assures you that the parking will be no problem since they are waiting for Amazon to resolve this for me and instruct their supervisor on how to process the return. You keep waiting forever. Then when it's done you leave. A month later you get a ticket from this shady company for $90 with threats of collection, booting, and towing. Amazon is partially responsible for having this operator for their parking, but the company has no customer service and it's misleading. I disputed online yet it kicked my out in the middle of doing it. Then I tried again and it was the same thing. I sent and email, but got no reply of a decision. Later they still sent another note to pay now $170. This is clearly an illegal operation based on the FL House Bill 271.
