          According to information provided by consumers, 'housinggwp.com' is a website offering apartments for rent around the Twin Cities. Consumers describe expressing interest in an apartment shown on the site, being directed to fill out a brief online "application," then being solicited for $200+ to "hold" the unit via online payment platform (CashApp, Venmo, PayPal). BBB notes that there is no business by this name registered with the MN Secretary of State's office. The website in question was just created on 10/5/22, and contains many seeming inconsistencies -- e.g., property photos that do not match address listed, etc. If you are currently in communication with "GWP" about an apartment rental, BBB strongly urges you not to send money or offer personal / financial information to this entity.
