On February 13, 2020, Dr. Stanley Librach was indicted by a federal grand jury in the US District Court of Eastern Missouri for 40 felony counts of conspiracy to distribute controlled medications, illegally prescribing controlled substances, obtaining controlled substance by fraud, deception or subterfuge, illegal kickbacks for referrals and Medicare and other health care fraud schemes. He was indicted along with ten others. If convicted, each count carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
