Pattern of Complaints
On August 8, 2017, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding service issues.
Complaints allege consumers did not have a full understanding of the interest rate of the loan agreement. Consumers allege the interest rates are in violation of their state laws.
On August 16, 2017, Plain Green Loans responded to BBB. The company provided BBB with a copy of its loan agreement. In the agreement there are disclosures pertaining to its high cost credit, and, tribal law and the borrower’s state law.
