Pattern of Complaints
BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning guarantee or warranty issues. Specifically, consumers allege that although they have not successfully been released from their timeshare contracts, Linx Legal has not refunded their money as advertised in their money-back guarantee. Out of 18 complaints filed with BBB, 16 of those complaints were seeking a full or partial refund for incomplete services. Additionally, these complainants allege that they have faced significant financial harm as a result of engaging Linx Legal’s services. Consumers have reported that as a result of the business’s instruction to discontinue paying their timeshare mortgage, their credit scores have been negatively impacted by about 100 points and some have been unable to obtain new financing for homes or cars.
On January 21, 2025, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. We are awaiting the business’ response.
