In September 2020, BBB Serving New Mexico and Southwest Colorado investigated Firing Line Inc. DBA Guns Online Sales, Safe Gun Shop and Guns & Ammunition Online Sales business practices. This investigation was prompted by complaints, consumer reviews and Scam Tracker reports.

Consumers have alleged the following through BBB complaints: 

- COVID-19 restrictions have resulted in reasonably priced guns not being available anywhere. This guys website showed he had the kind of gun I wanted in stock and a 6 day delivery promise. So I purchased item on 10 Sep 20 from https://safegunshop.com/ and did not receive item. Repeated attempts (8 times and counting) to contact business have had zero results. https://safegunshop.com/ doesn't respond to emails or chats on their website chat bot. Tyler is the guys name and he stiffed me for $330.

- Sept 18th 2020 I got on gunsonlinesales.com which come to find out here it’s also calling firing.com. I purchased a vr80 shotgun they sent me an email confirmation with an order number and everything. Then after paid $629.00 Company has went dark won’t respond to emails, calls or on site live chat. I actually tricked them on live chat asking off wall questions and after they responded I proceeded to ask them about my order they said get back with me within 12 hours and it’s been 4 days.

- Scammed by a website and a salesman by the name of Tyler J**. by: Websitescam #***** Aug 10, 2020 Monetary Loss: $474.00 Fraudulent website pretending to be a gun shop. One would make an order that has to be paid by Zelle or Cash app. An invoice would be downloaded to the buyer's email with the item that suppose to have been purchased. A salesperson would make contact by text with the instructions on sending the payment. I asked if the company would request the payment through Zelle or the Cash app and I was told NO. Therefore, my thinking was if the individual could receive funds through those apps, I knew one could request funds from those apps. I asked to confirm the item ordered and they had the invoice number which was the only thing I submitted. I called a "*********," which took time about 20 minutes get through because of short staff and was put on hold, which was in California so that I could verify the salesman name and my order. They did not have my order and they did not know about a salesman by the name of Tyler J**. Names reported: Tyler J** Phones reported: *********** Web/emails reported: ******************* People must know its a scam. https://safegunshop.com/. do your research it opened in Feb 2020

In September 2020, BBB checked the following websites creation dates:
- www.safegunshop.com creation date 02-02-2020
- www.gunsonlinesales.com creation date 02-17-2020
- www.stribogmodels.com creation date 03-30-2020

During the course of our investigation, BBB found this business is not located at the reported address in Albuquerque, NM. BBB drove by the business's published address of 2854 Constitution Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 and was unable to find any buildings with this address. Postal mail sent by BBB to 2854 Constitution Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 was returned marked by USPS as no such number. BBB is unable to verify the true location of this business. 

BBB made inquiries to Firing Line Inc. via email asking the following:
- A copy of property taxes for the address 2854 Constitution Ave NE 
- Secretary of State corporation filings and a list of principals
- Operations addresses, mailing addresses, warehouse addresses and phone numbers
- Business start date
- Additional legal entity names and DBAs 
- Additional websites and social media outlets
- Copies of contracts, forms or other documents that are provided to consumers
- Explanation of the statement, We're your one-stop online gun store in Illinois 
- Provide any information for the business being located in Illinois
- Process for undelivered orders
- If a refund is issued, how long the process is for the refund

To date, BBB has not received a response from Firing Line Inc.

Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot state with confidence that we have a clear understanding of the business.
