  In May 2021 I signed a contract for a teardrop trailer with Earth Traveler and sent then a downpayment of $6986.16. They were about a year out on builds at that time, give or take several months depending upon supply chains and ability to get the parts they need. I didn't hear anything for over two years and in July 2023 I emailed to ask about the status of the build. They responded, saying that due to difficult circumstances they had to back out of the deal and would reimburse my money at $1000/month until paid off. I requested that it be paid in full by the end of 2023, which they said they could do. I have yet to receive any reimbursement. I have attached a copy of the email correspondence. I can also get a copy of the contract to you and proof of initial payment, although that does not appear to be in question at this time.

  RE: EARTH TRAVELER TEARDROP TRAILERS LLC , 3217 RICHARDS LANE #B , SANTA FE, NM, 87507, UNITED STATES. *************************************** On or about 6/24/2021 I entered into an agreement with Earth Traveler Teardrop Trailers LLC for the purchase of a tear drop camping trailer. The total cost for the delivered product was $15,121.61. At the time of the order we made a $8000 deposit as part of the standard order process. Due to a backlog of orders, we were told that the delivery of the final product to us was estimated to be 18 months, approx third or forth quarter of 2022. After many delays, we received an email from Earth Traveler LLC telling us that due to unforeseen circumstances, our order was being cancelled with a projected refund of our $8000 deposit by end of second quarter 2023. In July 2023, after asking for update on our refund, I was told: Hello ***, We apologize that the time by which we estimated that your reimbursement would start has elapsed, but we can assure you that it is a very short time away from being made. The funds we have been awaiting and with which we will be able to pay you, should have been paid to us by this date, but the officer in charge of the last leg of transferring the funds to us, notified us that he will be out for the 4th of July week, put stated that as soon as he would return he would see to it that our payment be completed. Thus in the following week at the very most two weeks, we will be able to pay you. We again apologize for all the inconvenience.
