Dishonest, unethical business practices. Do not use. They quoted me about $2200 and some change on the phone for my move. I specified all the items I wanted moved. Everything was listed on the inventory sheet. When the paperwork came in, it was $2300 and some change. When the movers came, they immediately told me that there wouldn’t be enough room and I would need to pay for more space if I wanted to move everything. When I asked how much more it would be, they called to the office and told me it would be over $6000. I said this was outrageous and spoke to their office on the phone. They told me that $2300 was an estimate and that it could change. I told them everything was on the inventory and was verified over the phone. They tried to explain that they don’t know the sizes of everything. How can they know the size of a three-seat sofa-bed? Or the size of a queen size mattress? They booked 291 cubic feet for my stuff. Since everything was inventoried, I thought this would be enough. Apparently, you need to be a moving expert to work with them. Just because you have itemized everything and listed their sizes, you also need to know the cubic feet required. The couch and bed were more than half the space. It would impossible to fit everything on the inventory. Of the items in my inventory, they were able to move my 3-seat sofa, ottoman, queen bed with mattress, one medium size box, two small boxes, and two smaller boxes. They were also able to move my desk because it was a flat writing surface with wire frame that could be dissembled. If it were a regular desk with drawers, they could not have taken it. Of the items in my inventory, they could not fit my dining set, desk chair, TV, TV stand, nightstand, two floor lamps, cushion chair, floor fan and air purifiers. This is their business practice. They purposely underbid to make the sale, then demand more money to move it all. You can’t cancel at this point or you lose your $1000 deposit.Review from Samantha E

I was moving from a two bedroom apartment in San Diego to a house in Henderson, NV. During our first call, I detailed what I had in my apartment - room by room. I didn’t leave anything out. I told them I had larger furniture and a lot of items (I’d lived in that apartment complex for years). We discussed next day delivery, and it was never voiced to be an issue. In fact, the person I spoke to stated it wouldn’t be a problem. I was quoted approximately $3,900. I ended up paying over $11,000. The nightmare began the day of my move, a single mover showed up and appeared surprised by my items. He left and took over an HOUR to come back with an updated figure, about $5,600! I had no other options. I had to be out of my apartment that day (Saturday) and return the keys, and I had to be in Henderson by Monday for my new job. I felt like they low balled me and then put me in a position where I couldn’t say no. At 8PM they were finally done. I was given a second blow, the move would cost me an additional $5700! They already had all my stuff in their truck, so I couldn’t refuse! I was then told this payment needed to be in CASH. I was on the phone with one of the office managers for about 30 minutes. I asked if they would keep my stuff hostage if I wasn’t able to make that payment, and the lady would not answer my question. From a quote of $3,900 to now paying over $11k. Unpacking was another nightmare. They broke multiple pieces of furniture, including absolutely destroying a dresser, that I never heard back about. During the first leg of the move, I met a mover named “T”. I don’t want to use his real name. He was understanding of my stress, and asked for my contact information so that he could help me with this company and my issues with them. I gave him my insta and cell phone number. Almost immediately, I received unsolicited and explicit sexual messages. I stopped responded immediately, but I still receive unsolicited sexual text messages from this person.Review from Connor L

Royal Moving is a dishonest and incompetent company that I could not recommend less to prospective customers. They are dishonest about their pricing, which I will fully detail below. They also have posted or apparently paid others to post fake positive reviews on Google and other websites. If you look at the pictures on these “positive” reviews, notice the stock internet photos of movers with friendly smiles…those are not real people, and certainly not employees of Royal Moving. The reviews with real pictures and real people are overwhelmingly negative, for a reason. Royal Moving lost some of my items, and only delivered half of my items on the first delivery date (10 days past the agreed-upon delivery window). Then, months later, after the military moved me out of the United States, they delivered the rest of the things they found back to my original address. This delivery included 2 boxes that are not mine, and that I am trying to return to their rightful owners. I am still missing items. I believe Royal Moving owes me significant compensation. I am undergoing the claims process for my missing items now, but will not be able to re-coop close to what I lost. Royal Moving should reimburse me for the $1000 “bulk items fee” that was sprung on me upon pickup, and should compensate me for not completing the full delivery until 103 days after pickup. I was ignored by both the dispatch and warehouse manager over a dozen times. I am still missing numerous items. I also have 2 boxes from other people that I am trying to return to them. However, the company has not offered any additional compensation for it taking 103 days for them to complete a partial delivery of my items, some of which had to be returned to the original pickup address due to my military relocation. Do not use Royal Moving. I will be mailing this letter to the company, BBB, the Nevada Attorney General, and to the city of HendersonRoyal Moving and Storage, LLC Response

We take all feedback seriously, as it is an opportunity for us to improve our services. We would like to clarify and address the points raised in this customer’s complaint to ensure there is no misunderstanding. Our pricing is clearly outlined in our contract and terms of service, which you agreed to prior to the move. Any additional charges, such as the bulk items fee, were explained at the time of pickup, as they are standard in the industry for oversized or specialty items. We encourage all our customers to review and understand the terms before the moving process begins. At the time of pickup, a revised final estimate was sent to this customer, and he signed before the items were loaded onto the truck. All changes were reviewed with him, and we believe signing a contract indicates they have read, understood and agree to the terms within. We would like to clarify that the majority of the customer's items were delivered within the contracted timeframe. For any items that were initially missing, our team conducted a thorough search to locate them and arranged a separate delivery to ensure the customer received these items.
The customer has noted that the items were delivered after his relocation to Japan. Please note that we were still actively searching for the missing items when we were informed of this short timeframe. At that time, the customer was notified that these items were being located, with an understanding that delivery before his PCS from New Mexico could not be guaranteed. We want to emphasize that the process of locating misplaced items does not imply a failure to meet our contractual delivery obligations. Nonetheless, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The customer informed the warehouse manager of receiving items that did not belong to him 10 days after delivery. Photos of the items intended for delivery to his prior address were shared with him beforehand, during which no indication was given that the boxes were not his. Consequently, the items were delivered accordingly.
Regarding the missing items, we are collaborating with CSI Pros to address this matter through the claims process. Claims are resolved based on the coverage rate selected for items during the move. If the customer has questions regarding this coverage, our team would be happy to provide further clarification.
Royal Moving and Storage does not condone or engage in any unethical practices such as posting fake reviews. The positive and negative reviews on our Google and other platforms are from genuine customers who have had positive experiences with our services. Stock photos are sometimes used for illustrative purposes, which is a common practice across various industries, but the content of our reviews is entirely authentic.

"Our pricing is clearly outlined in our contract and terms of service, which you agreed to prior to the move. Any additional charges, such as the bulk items fee, were explained at the time of pickup, as they are standard in the industry for oversized or specialty items." - I have copies of my pre-move contract that listed each of the items that were considered "bulk" on pickup, and at no time did Sunny or anyone else tell me that there would be an extra fee, nor was it included in the initial contract that I signed. Yes, I eventually signed a contract after negotiation on moving-day because I had no other option in my life to move my deceased dad's things from California to New Mexico. "The customer has noted that the items were delivered after his relocation to Japan. Please note that we were still actively searching for the missing items when we were informed of this short timeframe. At that time, the customer was notified that these items were being located, with an understanding that delivery before his PCS from New Mexico could not be guaranteed." - There is no short timeframe, and there was no timeframe once I had already completed my PCS from New Mexico, since I was requesting the 21 missing items to be delivered BACK to the original Sacramento pickup address. In fact, my mother has volunteered to drive to Henderson from Sacramento if the warehouse manager ever locates my missing items, and I have communicated as much to the warehouse manager. "The customer informed the warehouse manager of receiving items that did not belong to him 10 days after delivery. Photos of the items intended for delivery to his prior address were shared with him beforehand, during which no indication was given that the boxes were not his. Consequently, the items were delivered accordingly." - I was sent a picture of a pile of boxes within the warehouse that the manager believed may be mine. I was able to identify a couple as not belonging to me, but was unable to determine the rest based on the photo of them in a pile. Once my mom received the items and had time to go through them, we identified 2 as not belonging to me. We are STILL awaiting communication from your company about your plan to pick up these items and attempt to deliver them to the correct customers. "Royal Moving and Storage does not condone or engage in any unethical practices such as posting fake reviews. The positive and negative reviews on our Google and other platforms are from genuine customers who have had positive experiences with our services. Stock photos are sometimes used for illustrative purposes, which is a common practice across various industries, but the content of our reviews is entirely authentic." - There is, of course, no way to prove or disprove this. It should be noted that your company has a 1-star, D- rating on BBB, and the complaints I've levied above have been echoed by numerous other customers. At the end of the day, I am distraught that heirlooms from my deceased father are still lost. As I've said, my mother has volunteered to drive to Henderson to retrieve the items if they can be found. I don't think the rest of the interactions or business practices reflect a professional organization, but I'm over that part and would happily rescind the reviews I've posted and discontinue contact if these items are returned to me.Review from JH

They quoted me a reasonable price for our move from TX to WA but when the loaders came the price jumped up over $4k because of bulk items! It took them a long day to just load our 2 bedroom home because one of the loaders went home with a bad back! In the original call, we were promised a service by ex-vets and all their workers worked for them but when the items arrived, it was a third party not employed by them. The unloaded were rude & very hurried so we didn’t have time to inventory so we were missing a large ladder & a picture box with antique mirrors. After many calls & emails to many people with the company they finally found our items at another warehouse. They have to wait for another truck coming this way even tho I was told initially that trucks come this way all the time! They broke our 70” tv by loading it flat & piling heavy items on top! The warehouse also piled heavy items on top of clearly marked fragile items. We’ve used many movers in past moves & this company far out surpasses them all - in being the worst moving company!Royal Moving and Storage, LLC Response

This customer had multiple items (large toolbox, large chest, oversized sofa, large refrigerator, grandfather clock, washer, and dryer) that were larger and heavier than standard size which is why there was a bulk fee added to these items. This was explained to the customer prior to the loading of the items on the truck and the customer signed the revised estimate with the changes. This customer booked with Royal Moving and Storage and Royal performed the pickup and storage of this customer's items. To get this customer's items delivered in a timely fashion we had another carrier who we have worked with for many years perform the delivery to Northern Washington state. Our owner is a veteran, and we have many veterans who we employ however not all of our employees have served our country. Our trucks only have room in the cab for two employees and it is not feasible to have a car with additional crew follow our trucks. We employ helpers in the cities that we frequent who are hired as independent contractors. These individuals are interviewed and thoroughly vetted before hiring and all have previous moving experience. We don't intentionally break customer's items, but unfortunately with long-distance moves this sometimes happens. Our crew tries their very best to treat all customers items with the care and respect they deserve. Our crew knows to handle televisions with care, and they are always loaded standing upright, not lying flat with items on top. The items that we located are going to be delivered to you, however we do have to wait until we have a full truck of items going to Washington state.Customer Response

My husband saw the TV box at the bottom of a pile with boxes loaded on top of the TV box as the movers were unloading our items. The movers also commented on this agreeing with us that this should not have been loaded this way! The TV was broken because of the warehouse's inept loading. I have pictures I've attached with boxes loaded on top of clearly marked "fragile". One loader in loading our items, had a back issue and had to go home so we question you're claim about vetting local loaders! The movers who unloaded our items were not Royal Mover employees when we asked them. Yes, we knew that the price of moving our items might increase, but not by $4K! We moved down to El Paso with other movers where we had more items then and we were charged much less! We only had a 2 bedroom home worth of items. Please read all reviews on BBB before you choose this company! Something we should have done but we were taken in by their promise of a smooth move and the fact that they were vet owned (my husband is a disabled vet).Review from Timothy H

This company lies and plays games! I paid them 3000 dollars to move our stuff from Cali to NV and they did bring most of our stuff. But they tried to give me a bed that wasnt ours. I informed them, they continued to say one thing and do another...and 10 days later they are not playing the I don't want to take the call game! If it was a cheap bed I wouldn't care! But our bed is 2000 dollars! I have tried many times in the past 10 days to find a solve for this with them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will lie and lie and act like children. All this could have been solved if they would have just been professional. They could have had our bed shipped via FedEx or UPS. I am done trying to be nice and work it out...time for the next step!Review from Amber T

This company delivered my items broken and completely damaged. Most of my items did not even arrive. The level of unprofessionalism is by far, the worst I've ever experienced. From the amount of charges added to the original quote, to the unprofessional customer service, to the promise to deliver my things and them never returning my calls or emails. I feel violated. This is a form of theft and vandalism. I received $800 as an offer to replace over $10,000.00 of my personal, irreplaceable items. This is a fraudulent company. They need to be out of business immediately. I am sleeping on a mattress because my beds were never delivered and I'm watching TV on my laptop because all 3 of my TVs were either broken or never delivered. I am appalled by the lack of respect to another human beings things. And I do not have the money to replace my items myself. This is a shameful act and they should never have the ability to so business again.Review from Daniel G

Don't. Just don't. I went with Royal Moving out of Nevada after looking for a long distance mover and them telling me OTHER movers were a scam. They are the scam. From my original location, the moving supervisor showed up hours late with the truck and that was after some local guys showed up from a ********** ad Royal Moving had put out to get movers to show up to my house. This was also after Royal Moving told me they thoroughly train their moving staff. How can they train their moving staff if they don't hire anyone until the day of the move? Some of the movers loaded and delivered boxes upside down even though they only had to read the writing on the boxes to determine which side was the top of the box. But they're "thoroughly trained"? One mover was a kid that packed a box full of my dishes only to have it open when he moved it into the truck and dishes fell out and broke! The moving supervisor told him to leave. After several hours of packing that went into the night (remember the truck was late to my house to begin with) the supervisor suddenly told me that my stuff was taking up a lot of room on the 18 wheeler moving truck. I told him I paid for a full truck and he told me that he was going to have to call it in and they were going to charge me a lot more because I had only "paid for so many squares on the truck". He told me that if I gave him some cash he wouldn't call it in to his company and then they wouldn't charge me more so I had to pay him $500 extra just so he could finish loading the truck I paid for already! Even when he finished loading the truck it wasn't completely full! Not all of the breakables were wrapped so some ended up being delivered to my new house broken in pieces! They wrapped some plastic items but didn't wrap some glass items! "Thoroughly trained"? Don't go with Royal Moving and Storage. You'll regret it.Review from Debra C

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEMS, MENTAL HEALTH AND MONEY!!!!!!! For me it started with Desiree reassuring me that they were a 5 star company that used their own trucks and drivers and that they were not a broker. That turned out to not be true! They showed up a day earlier then what I was told and when they called and said they would be at my home in approximately 3 hours, I was livid!!!! They asked me if I wanted to cancel, WHAT? I can't cancel, I've given you a 975.00 non-refundable deposit and I'm closing on my house in 2 days! Then my items show up damaged, the whole bottom of my light beige couch was wet and discolored, busted up furniture, busted up printer, one of my sleeping bags that was in an enclosed heavy plastic bag ended up being soaking wet! One of the movers scratched the pristine wood floors at the house I rented when they brought in one of my dressers that had a busted off wheel, that happened on their watch. My tool bag and tools were missing, as well as a tub of very sentimental Christmas decorations, which in my settlement I received nothing for either of them. Also, even though I was told to get 3 estimates for the scratches on the floor, I received nothing for those damages. Unbelievable that this company is still able to rip people off and have no accountability or responsibility for their horrible service and untruths.Review from Jamie G

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I called, got a great quote for my move from Las Vegas to Oklahoma City. I explained that I was moving into my apartment in OKC on April 1st & Allen, the Rep I dealt with explained to me that in order for them to deliver my things then, they would have to pick my things up no later then March 27th. Ok, so I paid the deposit. On 3/27 my things were picked up. Only after I would lose the deposit, did he tell me that they would try to get my things to me as close to the 1st of April as possible. TODAY IS APRIL 11TH & I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY THINGS!!! They were supposed to be here between 8am-10am today. I called my new boss yesterday after Nikki, with Royal Moving called & told me they would be here today. I asked my manager if I could come in after the delivery. She was gracious to allow that, even though I just started this job on Monday April 8th. She was not happy that I had to call her back today to tell her that they still hadn't come yet & wouldn't be here till 1pm! I talked to Lauren last week & she relayed to me that they had up to 30 days to deliver per the contract I signed when they picked up my stuff. I explained to her that they need to make people aware of ALL that before a deposit is put down & could lose the deposit if we cancel!! If I had known that, I would have NEVER BOOKED WITH THIS COMPANY!!! The amount of stress that this has caused is tremendous. To be without my personal belongings, having to go buy business casual clothes for work & now having to miss work today after just starting this job on Monday!! They are messing with my lively hood & causing me to spend money that I had not planned on spending. There has been no talk of discounting my fees or anything. The way they do "business" is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I am praying that all my things are delivered safely and exactly how they picked them up. If you value your time, money & mental health, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. This business is horrible.Review from DEA B

Worst move ever and I have moved a lot!!! Broken furniture, rub marks and bare spots on furniture - broken furniture, stolen/lost items that were expensive. Furniture wasn't covered as promised. plastic wrap not used as promised. Not sent to final destination as promised to be stored while we got an address. Came back and charged more at day of move. Crickets when calling to get location of items and updates, yelled at by staff in office over phone, no contact unless someone randomly answered the phone which was twice in number of times called. One person tried to help but I think they must have gotten in trouble because second call was like everyone else spoken with in office. No real insurance. DONT DO IT!!!!! WOULD GIVE ZERO IF IT WAS AVAILABLE!
