**Before reading this, I have had nothing but amazing experiences in the past with Creature Comfort. I have two Chihuahua's that they care for, both on the Wellness Plans. I took **** (my youngest) in because she had a small lump on her right leg. They weren't sure what it was and said we can have it removed during her Dental Cleaning. I said great and got it scheduled. When we brought my her in, during our check-in, nothing was stated about the procedure Not being covered by the Wellness Plan. No estimate of cost or breakdown for the procedure was provided. When I was told she was ready to be picked up, nothing was told to me then either. Once I pick up **** and start to check out, the person at the front said our total was $6.40. I handed my Debut Card, paid and left. A few hours later I received an overdraft notice from my Bank as Creature Comfort charged me $640.89. When asked for what, they said it was for her surgery which was never authorized or explained. Meaning the dental work was covered but not her removal of the bump. Everyone acknowledged they made a mistake, everyone acknowledged the procedure cost was NOT reviewed with me. The Office Manager had the Vet call me directly. I was excited as maybe they were going to make this right, which they should have. The Vet essentially just apologized, and didn't offer a resolution. Now I'm still overdrawn, not knowing if it's cancerous because I had to cancel the lab review of the cyst in order to have $300 of it returned to me. This is a terrible business decision not to rectify their mistake, knowing how it has burdened me and my family, and knowing it was their fault. These situations demonstrate if a business is ethical and honest and really cares for their customers. I hate to say this, but they have let me down. Unless I get a refund for a procedure I didn't approve, I will take this up with the board and further escalation
