In late 2022, it was brought to my attention that services I had paid GoJump to provide to me are no longer available & they refuse to offer a refund. On October 7, 2020 I purchased a tandem sky-dive for 4 at the Santa **** location from a jump elevation of ****** ft. My credit card was charged over the phone for the down payment, at the price of $947.60. The morning of our scheduled jump, I received a call that we were canceled due to weather. The lady I spoke to on the phone was unable to reschedule us at the time, as that location would be closed temporarily for the Winter break and that we could check back in Spring/summer. She also assured me that there was no hurry to reschedule, as it is a common practice in their business to hold the down payment reservation for years at a time and our jump will be there for us when we were ready. In 2021, I attempted to reschedule but there werent any available dates/times that worked for our group of four jumpers. In late 2022, I called to try to schedule again and I was told that GoJump was no longer operating out of Santa **** and that a refund could not be issued. I was also told that GoJump had contacted everyone prior to the closure, who had pre-paid jumps for the Santa **** location by phone, text message, and e-mail to offer a refund or to schedule a jump. However, I was never contacted with this offer. I was never even made aware that the Santa **** location was closing down & GoJump would not be operating there any longer. They did acknowledge that I have a credit on file of $947.00, but they will not offer me a refund they can only offer me a jump at another location. The purchase that I made is now useless to me as I will not be traveling to another location (hundreds of miles away) to receive the service I had paid for. Because of this, I am requesting a full refund be issued. Failure by GoJump to fulfill my request is unfair as this circumstance is no fault of my own and it is very poor business ethics.

    Customer response

I am providing 2 screen shots of the original email from GoJump ************** confirming my reservation. I also provided a screen shot from my call list of the recent calls made to GoJumpLas Vegas. The earliest call, December 2, 2022 was the day I found out that ************** location had been closed. The other two calls were to address the issue directly with the manager, but did not receive a resolution to my satisfactory.
