Alert
It appears that Cardinal Health, Inc is the victim of identity theft. A woman in Florida was contacted by a person pretending to represent Cardinal Health, Inc. They used Cardinal Health's contact information to convince her that she would be doing data entry form home. She received a check via Fed Ex which she was to use to purchase office equipment. She was told to wire all but $150. The $2,451.44 check was drawn on a fictitious bank, The Comminity Bank of Texas. BBB advises consumers to take any suspicious checks to your bank along with the letter or emails that came with them for investigation. If you deposit a check and withdraw money against it, and the check is returned to the bank. You will be responsible for the lost funds.
