The BBB received two negative customer reviews about the advertised "free trials" and claims that "you can delay an order, add/remove products to your box at any time." Consumers reported difficulties in delaying or canceling these free trials and orders.

Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.
The business also advertised an average rating of "4.9 stars out of 5,342 Reviews," but the BBB could not verify the number of customer reviews claimed. The BBB requested substantiation of these testimonials, noting that Section 30 of the Code addresses potential misleading implications of testimonials and endorsements, including authenticity and typicality of consumer experiences.
Additionally, the business made various health claims such as "For consistently clear skin all of the time," "Clinically-proven oil-based acne treatment," and "Cruelty-free, vegan-free, no artificial fragrance." Section 34 of the Code stipulates that such claims should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.
As of May 31, 2024, the business has not provided substantiation or discontinued the challenged claims, and the BBB has not received any response from the business regarding these issues.
