    1 star

The only reason that I clicked 1 star, is because you had to in order to write a summary. These ppl scam you on purchases, they did not provide full disclosure on the car and I had to deal with issues with the car including but not limited to the fact that it never had heat although they indicated it did. Additionally, they ignored my boss when they tried to provide pay stubs and employment verifications of my new job to modify my payment dates to match my new paychecks, they assured me those dates were modified but they were not intentionally making me late on a payment despite a recorded call I had with the lady telling me she changed the date. They ask you to set up a date to pay, then ignore the emails when you provide them with the information, they did not follow South Carolina laws with repossession when they attempted to repossess a missed payment that was due to their own error. They didn't serve a right to cure letter which is legally required allowing the borrower 20 days to resolve. They also did have yet to release personal belongings that include my son's carseat. They are scam artists who look for ways to make easy cash. They would try to call to avoid things being in writing and I would email to ensure it was fully documented. I have a lot of email records and correspondence showing some very shady business practice. I would stay far away from a place like this. There are honest buy here pay here places I've had amazing experiences with. This is not one of them. You will experience fraud, ****** and unlawful business practice.

*******, your vehicle was repossessed for non-payment. A notice of right to cure was sent certified to your address on file. No email from your boss about a paydate change was ever received. Our calls are recorded as well. You have until the date on the letter to get your belongings out of the vehicle.

This is the type of dishonesty that is being shared. I submitted on the public ****** review the proof that this was a lie. ****** at the Car Store assured me she had changed my due date to match my new jobs. I have attached an email to that public review from ****** confirming that she received the email from my employer that the owner is trying to deny receiving. I attach the proof straight from their email, in writing, and then they go silent. Same with the due date change. Silent when the proof Is posted. They intentionally tried to push the loan into default despite having told me they changed the date. Also, for a repossession for non-payment you have to follow South Carolina Laws which this company did not. Legally they are required to send a Notice of Right to Cure via certified Mail with a return signature and then that notice has to allow the borrow 20 days to cure the default before any company can legally repossess a vehicle. They did not send this letter and I have informed delivery to my house so I can prove a photograph of every piece of mail ever delivered or ever attempted to be delivered to my house in the last 2 years. When you do not send the proper notice, which would have rectified the amount and you repossess before the 20 days expires then it's an unlawful repossession and opens the door for me to sue for the value of the car and damages. Which I fully intend to do and have already started the process on. This is just a short summary of the evidence I have against this company. They have their contracts in the name of The Car Store which according to the Secretary of State was dissolved in 1994. They put the lien in the name of a business that is not on the contract and was opened in July of 2024. The contract is not enforceable and null and voice because when a business is dissolved according to the Secretary of State that removes their legal existence and solidified their inability to do business under that entity. My contract states the Car Store. a dissolved business. There are some corrupt practices going on, shady business that is also illegal. I plan to hold them accountable and upon given a link to upload the proof of all the above and then some more which will leave you jaw dropped. All of the proof, and proof beyond this small box for a comment is being submitted in the Court filing. They continue to lie as written above and think they can get away with it, they are about to discover that is not possible and I will fully extend my legal rights and I will ensure they are held accountable and shady business from a dissolved company and the lies, manipulating due dates to force default so you can keep gaining new money off the same car in and endless cycle by a tow company you own...which is fraud... can not happen to anyone else again.
