Their website displays the BBB logo stating they are accredited with you and have an A+ rating. However, upon using your website, they are not accredited by you. They are falsely advertising this.

Last July I sold my home and Paramount Title Services was used as the title company. The location in *************** (**********, **). I had an FHA loan as well as a deferment/forbearance balance that should have been paid at closing. During the process an associate from Paramount called me to ask about the second loan that was showing on the house. I explained it was a forbearance during COVID. The amount owed was a little over $11K. Since they asked me about this, I assumed they were aware and everything would be taken care of. As that is the job of a title company (So I thought). I now have a payment of $317 a month to HUD for the next 3 years because the forbearance balance was never paid off. This notice was just sent to me in July of 23 (One year after closing). Had I known this was not taken care of I definitely would have paid this with the proceeds from my house. I have since bought a new home and used my extra cash to finish out the basement. This new payment is causing a major financial stress and I feel it's due to Paramount Title not following up on their end. Paramount was contacted by the mortgage company and I have documents to show this money is owed.

Let me first begin by apologizing for this financial problem that ************ is experiencing.  I can assure you that ************ has been in contact with the Manager for our *************** office (*****) on a couple of occasions as we tried to discover where this problem originated. ***** immediately began working on tracking down the problem when ************ came into the office when he received his letter from HUD. *****'s original thought was that maybe the lien was just never released (that is not uncommon).  When she tried to contact HUD the only response she received was that "************ needed to pay this balance in full".  They would not give her any information about why it was not given to us when we originally closed this transaction.  The payoff we received for **************** home was collected and remitted to his lender.  His forbearance payment was not listed in that total (as we have seen it done in past transactions), so he is correct in his statement that we did not send this payment into HUD.  Since we did not collect from his proceeds at closing, it was included in his funds as he stated.  The employee that handled this file is no longer with our company (she has moved) so I cannot ask her about any response she might have received as to this payoff, nor why she did not collect it.  ***** requested ************ to contact HUD after their last call and see what information he could get, and then she asked if he would update her.  Our update was this complaint thru BBB.

Yes I did contact HUD and all they would say is the money is owed, and pay or youll be sent to collections. The last time I talked with ***** she did ask for me to call her back and she was very polite in our discussions. But, her last response was putting the blame back on Rocket Mortgage for not sending the Forbearance info when the payoff was collected. So I didnt feel calling back to argue that point with her would do any good. The fact remains that Paramount was able to see this debt and I feel they should have confirmed it was included in the payoff.  Title companies are used for this purpose or at least thats my understanding.

    Thank you

Do you all not follow up with my response? Whats the point of filing a complaint?
