I have made payments on this account every month since I opened it. There were some times I got behind as you can see in the statement. I made double payments to catch up but yet the account Still Remains way overdue. The original cost of the barn was $5,000. I have paid in an estimated $12,000. The balance owed is estimated ****. The billing statements are inconsistent all the time no matter how much I pay on this account they keep sending it for recovery. The company charges no interest but does not disclose fees.

We are sorry to hear of ************ frustrations. We see that he is requesting a refund as a solution. ************ account is with our ******************* at this time. The account entered into a recovery status on 1/4/2024; in May of 2023 the account was in default, but had not yet been submitted for Recovery. ************ account was submitted for recovery due to being behind on payments. At the time of this status change ************ account was 115 days past due (Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec payments). That same day ********** called in to let us know he had some personal trouble and would be able to pay at least half of the past due balance the following day, 1/5/2024. ********** followed through and made a payment of $450.00. After this payment, the account was made current up to 11/10/2023, making ********** due for Nov & Dec payment with ******* coming due on 1/10/2024. ********** advised he would make the remaining past due payments on 1/16/2024. We sent a reminder to ********** on 1/16, a text on 1/17, & then a notice on 1/22 that the account had been re-submitted to a driver to be scheduled for pickup. On 1/29 ********** sent a text stating that he would attempt to contact us later in the evening (we are only open until 5pm CST). We have not heard back from ********** at this time.
In regards to ************ concern that he has paid $12,000 toward his balance, this is inaccurate. He is correct that the early payoff amount (as of today) is $2275.79. There are no hidden fees, but there is a rental fee each month that is factored into the payment. Each month a payment is made, the early payoff amount goes down. If paid ahead, the early payoff amount will show even less, as the rental fee is only charged as each month's payment comes due. We are happy to work with ********** on a realistic payment plan. We will reach out to ********** in an attempt to work out an arrangement with him and answer any questions he may have.
