On 10/7//2022, the BBB wrote to Gonzalez Remodeling & Roofing and asked the business to substantiate the following advertising claims:
The company states they offer "plumbing repair" but no plumbing license number listed in their ad. The advertisement was featured in The Monitor newspaper.
The BBB found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising. The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners requires that all companies must disclose their license number in all forms of advertising. According to Section 367.2. Standards of Conduct. (c) Representations. The Licensee and Registrant: (1) shall not indulge in advertising that is false, misleading, deceptive, or which does not clearly display the licensees' state license number.
As of October 21, 2022, the business has failed to respond to BBB.
