do not recommend Color County Aussies for purchasing a puppy. It has been over a month since I got my dog, and I still have not received the appropriate paperwork, including her actual birthdate and other important details. This lack of communication and organization is extremely ************** make matters worse, the listing for the puppy indicated it was a male, but when I received her, it turned out she is a female. While I absolutely adore her and wouldnt change her for anything, this level of misinformation is unacceptable when purchasing a pet.I expected more professionalism and transparency from a breeder, and unfortunately, Color County Aussies fell short in both regards.

We purchased a toy Australian ******* from Color Country Aussies in October of 2021 and had a wonderful experience. We were sent home with all his paperwork, a care package of food, shampoo, a squeaky toy, a small blanket and a microchipped puppy. The pup was easily potty trained, he was easy to socialize with other dogs and has been a great dog!Since we had such a great experience the first time around when we decided to add to our canine family we didnt hesitate to contact Color Country Aussies again; however this experience has been the exact opposite of our first experience. We picked up our new little guy on April 12, 2024, ****** asked if she could email me his paperwork and I said ok, we paid for the pup and we left. Fast forward to today May 2, 2024 and I have yet to receive any paperwork from ******, I have repeatedly text her and asked for the paperwork but now she has stopped responding. I have an idea when the pup was born taken from ******* advertisement on the website, but I have no definite birthday or lineage for this puppy and no microchip to boot!I am beyond frustrated with this transaction and going forward I will never recommend Color Country Aussies as I have in the past!

I would not recommend purchasing a dog from ******, she runs a puppy mill. ****** touted all these great things about her dogs, but after putting a deposit down via Venmo for the 8 month old pup, communication with ****** became very difficult. She would never directly answer questions and couldnt even supply us with a measurement for a collarpost deposit, we began to question our decision and the legitimacy and honesty of the breeder. We traveled from **************** to ********** to pick up our pup at her place of business. When we were 20 minutes away she hastily changed the meeting location to a local gas station. Upon meeting her at the gas station, where she parked at a fuel pump to conduct business, she handed me the unnamed pup. No microchip, no paperwork, no receipt, cash deal. I lamented my feelings of her shady business practices, she shrugged it off, I foolishly and reluctantly paid. After having our pup for a few weeks and witnessing her behavior that was obviously trauma from where she was raised, I decided to call ************** Services and request a wellness check on Keishas facility. I was told they get calls to her facility quite often, and cannot discuss the details, but there is nothing they can do. Although we are making progress with our pup after spending 24 hours a day with her for a month and a half, she has more emotional/personality problems than our shelter rescue.I would recommend purchasing a dog from a responsible breeder, not ****** at Color Country Aussies.

I would give zero stars if I could. Dog had hip dysplasia and attacked twice drawing blood. Total costs I am out $4800. Ever since she got the money I was ignored. Dog came in an empty crate with no paperwork. Because he attacked without being provoked he will be put down after the 10 day hold. Big ****** learned.

I purchased a puppy from Color Country in 2015 and would NOT recommend this breeder! She has too many puppies at one time and cannot keep the breeding pairs straight (she told me my puppy had 2 different fathers at two different points when I asked her for papers after making a purchase). Our puppy showed signs of aggression from the very first week we had him (bit me to the point of breaking the skin at 9 weeks old) and was not eligible to be certified for therapy work, despite requesting a puppy with an appropriate disposition/temperament for therapy. I have owned two other MAS in my lifetime and I have one current 8 year old female from another breeder who is certified to do hospice visits and is very calm and sweet. We still loved and cared for him for 7 years despite his aggression towards children - he bit my 5 year old under his eye and my son needed stitches (and he grew up in a house with small children from day 1), aggression towards other dogs (would run them down and chase them and bite them if off leash), and especially towards men (bit a man's hand when we stopped to talk to someone while on a walk and bit my husband's hand last year to the point of cellulitis infection with a deep puncture wound). We had to euthanize our dog after 7 years after he bit me twice in one week after loving and caring for him for 7 years. The vet said his behavior was concerning, especially given there was never a warning before he would bite (such as a growl or bearing his teeth). She advised that he be put down as he was deemed unsafe to be in our home or even surrendered for ************** breaking story for my family. I would definitely NOT recommend Color Country Aussies.
