Was doing a public data search for a friend, this business had a $1 one time use fee. No other charges. I paid $1 for services offered for $1. The company ran my card a few days later and charged me/ran my card for $28. Total scam operation they are running.

Hi *******,  Thank you for contacting us and we are sorry to learn that your experience was not what you expected. We were not able to locate an account using the information from this communication and we called you and left a message asking you to contact us. Our services are offered on a subscription that offers unlimited access to the information on our website for $29.96 per month. Your subscription likely included a promotion where the first 7-days are offered at a discounted rate of $1. This provides unlimited access prior to paying the normal monthly fee. This information is explained during the registration process on our website and we require all customers to check a box to ensure they acknowledge and agree to fees. This information is also reiterated in the welcome email that is sent at the time of registration. If your account was billed, it was because it was active at the time of the scheduled billing date. Sorry again that this was a different experience than what you expected. Again, we can’t locate an account with the information available to us, so please contact us to ensure this matter can be resolved. The fastest way to connect is to call us toll-free at ###-###-####. Our live agents are available 7-days from 5am - 9pm PT and we would be happy to assist you further. Sincerely, Member Support

******************* was the company that charged me. My bank gave me a refund and cancelled my card.

The company I reported did call me and said that I had the wrong company. Public Data Search was not the right company?

            My apologies for any confusion.

I signed on this site to get a 1 time assessment for my deceased mother’s home. It noted a $1 processing fee for a free service. After clicking on the processing fee. It billed me $23.95 which I located on it’s site as a monthly fee. It recently pulled another $23.95 out of my account. When I contacted the company, they stated that they couldn’t find me in the system (a day after taking the second payment). The withdrawal goes to publichousingdata.com from my CashApp card
