Refund and Exchange Policy

    1. Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather

    Definition of Inclement Weather
    For the purposes of this policy, “inclement weather” includes, but is not limited to, heavy rain, high winds (exceeding 20 mph sustained winds), severe thunderstorms (with lightning or thunderstorm warnings), or official weather advisories that make equipment usage unsafe within the Western WA region.

    Cancellation Cut-Off:

    Timing: If inclement weather is forecasted or present, the Customer may cancel by 8:00 AM on the date of the rental and before the Company arrives for delivery, whichever occurs first, to receive a full refund of the deposit.

    Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be communicated by phone or email (or other specified method in the contract) by the deadline above.

     

    Refund Conditions

    • If the Customer cancels due to inclement weather before the cut-off time, the Customer will receive a full deposit refund.
    • No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations made after the 8:00 AM cut-off or after the Company has arrived for delivery, whichever occurs first.

    2. Cancellations for Other Reasons

    • Non-Weather Cancellations: Cancellations made for reasons other than inclement weather will not receive a refund of the deposit.
    • Force Majeure / Government-Declared Emergency: In the event of a government-declared emergency, mandatory evacuation, or a city-wide closure that prevents the rental from taking place, the Company will, at its discretion, offer a full or partial refund or a rescheduled rental date, depending on the circumstances.

    3. Equipment Malfunction or Inoperability

    Customer Responsibility to Notify
    If the rented equipment malfunctions or is otherwise inoperable, the Customer must notify the Company immediately via phone or the contact method specified in the contract.

    Right to Repair or Replace

    • Upon notification, the Company will make every reasonable effort to repair or replace the equipment as soon as practicable.
    • If the Company is unable to repair or replace the equipment within a reasonable time frame, the Customer is entitled to a partial or full refund, to be determined based on factors such as the duration of unusable equipment and its impact on the overall rental.

     

    Failure to Notify
    If the Customer fails to notify the Company of an equipment issue and does not allow the Company the opportunity to remedy the problem, no refund will be issued.

    4. Company-Initiated Cancellations

    • If the Company must cancel the rental for reasons such as equipment failure, staffing issues, or any other Company-related matter, the Customer will receive a full refund of any deposit or payments made.

    5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    • This policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute arising under or related to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable city courts, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
    • Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit any rights or remedies to which the Customer may be entitled under Washington State law or applicable municipal regulations.

    6. Acceptance

    • By booking and paying any deposit or fees, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy. The Customer further acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms.
