A Judgement Notice from ****************************** was issued, which mandates Renter ********************************* to compensate me in the amount of $7,318.13. The court, after considering testimonies and evidence from both parties, impartially ruled in favor of me as the gear owner. This judgment stands in ***** contrast to ShareGrid's initial decision on the matter, suggesting an unfair and potentially prejudiced internal arbitration process from the outset by ShareGrid I am contacting the Better Business Bureau with the hope that your team can provide assistance and facilitate two specific requests:1. As the transactions and rentals occurred on the ShareGrid platform, I kindly request the platform's assistance in collecting the funds from the renter in accordance with the court order, as we're now at the stage of enforcement of a court judgment. I have already covered all expenses related to the damage repair.2. I kindly request ShareGrid to reconsider the decision to suspend my account. Despite presenting concrete evidence, the ShareGrid management team, frustratingly, found me at fault in this damage claim and suspended my account. Given the recent judgment by the superior court, which held Renter ********************************* responsible, I sincerely hope ShareGrid can restore my innocence and reinstate my account. I firmly believe that I was unilaterally labeled as "wrongfully convicted" by ShareGrid and unfairly held responsible for the damage incident, a judgment contradicted by the superior court's ruling.Furthermore, we humbly believe our value to the ShareGrid community is unprecedented, as we have 148 reviews on the ShareGrid platform with 100% positive feedback. It is our position that the one-year suspension handed down from ShareGrid is not only extreme, but also absolutely unfair. We humbly request a reinvestigation given our track record with ShareGrid, be let back into the ShareGrid community, and be properly compensated/reimbursed for the damage cost.

This complaint contains false and misleading information. When we receive member reports and/or there is a violation of our Terms of Service, we will take necessary action, including suspending an account to protect the community. The multiple issues that led to the complainant's account suspension have been communicated to the complainant several times, including written warnings before the account suspension. Unfortunately, the complainant is unsatisfied with the temporary suspension of their account.

    Complaint: 21235053

I am rejecting this response because:

We must express our concern regarding the information provided, which we find to be inaccurate and misleading. We kindly request that you provide specific evidence of the alleged violations and multiple issues referenced, beyond the two incidents that have already been addressed, resolved, or determined to be unrelated to any fault on our part by a superior court.

It is crucial to note that in the case of renter *****************************, he has already acknowledged the damage and issued payment, effectively bringing an end to the matter. Additionally, regarding renter *************************, the court has made a ruling and judgment, concluding that the fault lies with the renter, not the gear owner.

We are dissatisfied with ShareGrid's decision, as we believe it was made arbitrarily without the involvement of a third-party judicial arbitration process or fair comprehensive consideration of all evidence presented. Please bear in mind that ShareGrid's judgement in ******************** case stands in ***** contrast to the judicial ruling in the court of law. As we have previously mentioned, we have had the privilege and honor of completing hundreds of rental orders on your platform, with only two disputes arising, accounting for less than 1% of our overall rental transactions. Of these two disputes, the one involving ************************* was ruled in our favor by a superior court, and the other, involving *****************************, was resolved amicably after he proactively paid the damage fees.

Considering that the issues cited by your team as grounds for our account suspension have either been resolved or determined not to be our responsibility, it appears contradictory that our account remains suspended and that an unfair judgement was made by your team from the outset. Therefore, as the rental occurred on your platform, we kindly request that ShareGrid seek compensation from renter ************************* responsible for the damage, which is in line with the court ruling, and conduct a thorough reinvestigation of the case, and restore my innocence.

Attachments are RENTER ********************************* response and Notice of Judgement issued by the court for ***************************** case.

    Sincerely,
    Jiaxuan (jacky) Song

    Complaint: 21235053

I am rejecting this response because:

(I am an upright person who had been a member of ShareGrid since *************************************************** this particular case, I cant stress enough how I was mistreated because of the partial judgment decided by ShareGrid who arbitrated this case in dispute solely by looking into narratives from both sides, not physical evidence and paperwork. Acquiescing to false claims and wrongful accusations compromises my integrity, so I am left with no choice but to fight tooth and nail for my innocence for something I shouldnt be responsible for.)

We must express our concern regarding the information provided by ShareGrid, which we find to be inaccurate and misleading. We kindly request that ShareGrid provide specific evidence of the alleged violations and multiple issues referenced, beyond the two incidents that have already been addressed, resolved, or determined to be unrelated to any fault on our part by a superior court.

It is crucial to note that in the case of renter *****************************, he has already acknowledged the damage and issued payment, effectively bringing an end to the matter (Exhibit 1). Additionally, regarding renter *************************, the court has made a ruling and judgment, concluding that the fault lies with the renter, not me as the gear owner. (Exhibit 2 & 3)

We are dissatisfied with ShareGrid's decision, as we believe it was made arbitrarily without the involvement of a third-party judicial arbitration process or fair comprehensive consideration of all evidence presented. Please bear in mind that ShareGrids judgment of holding me, the gear owner, responsible and subsequently suspending my account is in ***** contrast to the courts ruling that holds the renter responsible for the damage claim.

Moreover, we have had the privilege and honor of completing hundreds of rental orders on the ShareGrid platform, with only two disputes arising, accounting for less than 1% of our overall rental transactions. Considering that the issues cited by your team as grounds for our account suspension have either been resolved or determined not to be my responsibility by a judicial officer in the court of law, it appears contradictory that our account remains suspended, and it further suggests that a partial, prejudiced judgment was made by team ShareGrid from the outset without a thorough investigation of all concrete evidence. Therefore, as the rental occurred on your platform, we kindly request that ShareGrid seek compensation from renter ************************* responsible for the damage, and restore my reputation and innocence.

Attachments are RENTER ********************************* response and Notice of Judgement issued by the court for ***************************** case.

Its a photo equipment rental service. I went online, found the lense i want to rent, gave me options $30 and 3 options of insurance coverage ( $12 damage only, 28$ theft and damage and third party). I chose one for damage only, submit my documents, its insist to share my social media account, have only ********* they comeback with response that they want to increase the amount of my coverage and set more then $30 and pushing to get their insurance plan. How come you first show me the option of $12 coverage then after submitting ******** account you eliminate that coverage, and setting higher limit which will cost more then a rental. Looks like the business is more oriented to sell insurance rather then service they advertise. On top of discriminating people based on their social media account.

    Hi Bek,

We're very sorry to hear about your issue with the increased rental coverage fee. After reviewing this issue, it appears that you may have accidentally changed the rental dates for this rental which changed the coverage options and associated fees for the rental. When you add days to a rental period, the coverage option fee for the rental may increase to account for the additional rental days. If you try to submit your rental request again, you should see the correct coverage option fee for your intended rental duration of one day. In the future, please contact ***************************** and we would be happy to help you directly.

    All the best,
