Pattern of Complaints
On October 26, 2016, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding delivery and customer service issues.
Consumers allege they placed orders for various items from Colt Parts, that the business failed to deliver. Complaints further allege the merchandise is paid for in advance, and after the business suggests waiting 2-6 weeks, the merchandise does not arrive.
Additionally, consumers encounter difficulties following up with the business regarding these issues; complaints indicate the business phone is rarely answered, emails do not get addressed and/or are not responded to, and the voicemail box is full and/or they are not able to leave a message requesting a call back. Complainants also allege that if they are able to make contact with the business they are usually told that their item “just shipped” or that the item “shipped yesterday” and the item is never received.
BBB reached out to the company in an effort to address the underlying cause(s) of its pattern of complaints.
As of today, Colt Parts has not responded to BBB.
