JOB SEARCHERS BEWARE!

BBB has received several Scam Tracker reports and complaints on Lineup Post stating this is an Employment Scam using the ReshippingScam. Click the links to learn more.

May 2023, BBB began receiving reports on Lineup Post aka Lineup Logistics LLC, Lineup Post Logistics, Dash Lineup LLC, and Dash Lineup Shipping, alleging a work-at-home scheme involving a reshipping scam.

Some of the consumers had their resumes on Indeed when they were contacted by the company. They were asked to fill out forms and to send a copy of their driver’s license. After being hired, the consumers received packages they were to open, repackage with a different label and then ship out. All of the consumers were promised their pay at the end of 30 days. At 30 days, however, the consumers were locked out of the dashboard and all communication ceased.

Whois.com shows the website, www.lineuplogisticsus.com, was registered on May 11, 2023 for only one year.

Lineup Post LLC did file with the WV Secretary of State and used the paperwork to attempt to validate their scheme. BBB is working with the WV SOS to terminate the filing.

BBB offers the following tips to avoid an employment scam:

  • Be wary of on-the–spot job offers, particularly when they are unsolicited. You may be an excellent candidate for the job, but a legitimate company will want to talk to a candidate before hiring and do a proper interview.
  • Guard your personal information. Be cautious in sharing your personal information as part of a job application, especially leery if someone is pressuring you for the information. Never give sensitive information to anyone you cannot verify who they say they are.
  • Report such instances to BBB.org/ScamtrackerFederal Trade Commission and/or your State Attorney General’s office.
