          The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.

          On September 8, 2023 the U.S. Department of Justice filed a criminal complaint with the Northern District Court of West Virginia against Jeffrey James Morris, founder of Roxby Development for wire fraud. Morris is charged with fraudulently inducing an individual to provide him funds to renovate several buildings in Wheeling, WV, but instead used the funds for other purposes. Morris misrepresented work performed and the amount of rental income from a purported tenant. Morris was arrested on 9/8/23 as a result of the criminal complaint and appeared in court where he was released on bond and ordered to surrender his passport. The preliminary Hearing is set for 9/28/2023 at 11:00 AM in Wheeling Magistrate Judge Courtroom, 4th Floor before Magistrate Judge James P. Mazzone. The matter is pending.
