When I bought a used car at the dealership, I was offered an extended warranty. I decided to accept it. It's been 54 days since I bought it. However, I saw bad reviews from the insurance company and decided to try to get a refund. However, I realized that they only gave me the first page of the contract. Since then, I've been asking the dealership where I bought the car for the rest of the contract. However, they haven't done so. When responding to my emails, he said he called me to try to understand the situation, as he would not be able to send my contract over the phone. They say that all the information I need is on this first page. I contacted the insurance company. They told me that I'm entitled to a 50% refund of the amount. To process the refund, I should contact the dealership. I contacted the dealership and they told me that they can't do anything about the refund and that I should do it with the insurance company. So, I would like to know what I could do in this situation. Without the contract, I'm helpless because I don't really know what I'm entitled to.

I received this email on November 13th, but he has not contacted me since then, no update about the supposed refund. I am sending attached the entire conversation we exchanged by email promising me the refund, but before that he called me saying that in order to make the refund, I would have to withdraw the claim, only then would he make the refund.

I purchased a car from Drive net on December 13/2023. As the car was in ******* and I live in ******** I was unable to see it in person. When I received the car on Dec 17/2023 I quickly realized, it's going to need new tires. From the pre-sale inspection provided by Drive net it said the tires passed, however I was doubtful. I contacted my sales representative on a couple of different occasions but it was the holidays and he was also on his personal holidays. I ended up purchasing tires on January 10/2024 because I was no longer feeling safe with the tires that were on the vehicle. After talking to the technician who insalled the 4 new tires. I was informed by him that 2 of the 4 fail to meet the minimum saftey requirements. I then called my sales rep again asking for an explanation as to why according to pre-sale inspection report, a vehicle with tires that did not have pass a legitimate inspection by a reputable tire dealer were not properly dealt with before the transaction had taken place. I was therefore very disappointed by drive nets dismissive attitude as well as their lack of willingness for accountability for the faulty tires. I was told by the sales rep that he spoke to his supervisor, and in no uncertain terms was informed that they weren't willing to do anything for me. I don't believe myself or anyone else who purchases a new vehicle should have to spend the extra expense on an essential safety feature as in tires. Especially ones that were deemed safe and appearantly "passed" thier so called inspection! It was a necessity as per our laws and my own peace of mind. We live in ******* and we all know the weather we are dealt seasonally. I feel disregarded and not only for my personal inconvenience and expense but for others who may have or will experience the same or similar from Drive net.

Customer purchase 2020 ****** Sentra from ** December 13th. Vehicle had 140 point inspection with a passing inspection. We also included a 2 year warranty for customer on powertrain. Customer reached out to us in January saying he went to a shop and got new tires put on and he had already paid the shop and wanted us to pay him. We told him if he would have reached out to us before and mentioned to us he wanted new tires we could have gotten him some sort of deal but we do not reimburse for tires, especially when the originals were in good conidtion, without being asked.

We also send ***** an e transfer for $1726.18.

We feel ***** is just looking for extra cash for us and we will not be reimbursing his tires.

Attached is tread depth of tire and text messages between me and the sales man expressing my concerns about the tires when I received the car and prior to me getting new ones. Also the mechanical pre sale inspection which looks altered and if you see where it says it says clutch he wrote n/a and the is a 5 speed manual transmission. I can tell and can't prove the was no oil change prior to delivery. This **** plus dollars he's referring to is the remainder of a cash back on top of the car purchase and is standard when standard part of a deal when purchasing a car now a says. And has nothing to do with this matter at all. I feel as though Companies like this pray on people with poor credit. That's my situation and the only reason I went through drivenet. My issue is really this mechanic who passed these tires when in alberta the minimum is 3.5/32 tread depth. Drivenet at the end of the day is responsible because they contact these mechanics to do there inspections. I have no desire, nor the time or resources to go through this process. Once again it looks like the little guy will get screwed. I got enough problems and struggles in my life and not sure why I have too fight for wanting safe and legal tired on a ***** dollar car I just purched at the beginning of winter. It's ridiculous. Also it was never expressed to me that they would have corrected it prior to me purchasing tires my self. I attached text messages.

Good morning. I find this complaint to BBB extremely frustrating. Our company prides itself on its customer service and our ****** reviews should be a good reflection of that.

******************* purchased a ****** CHR from us back in ******** ****, after a couple weeks of the purchase he wasn't happy with the vehicle. We were quick to respond and find him a vehicle that better suits his needs. Not only that but we went above and beyond to help him ensuring he received free tires,

a cheque for ******** to help with his payments, repairs to some small damage on the front end of the vehicle and of course a 5 year road hazard protection which is still fully active. I verified with Road hazard this morning.

Attached is the promissory we signed with ***** stating that there would be no issues moving forward. As well on the second page is proof the road hazard is still active and of course the signed contract by ******

I hope BBB sees we went above and beyond for this customer and the fact that he sends off a complaint almost 18 months later is a real jab to a small company like ours.
