    On Saturday, April 20, 2024 I ordered a bouquet of flowers from Chinook Florists website to be delivered to a Calgary residential address. The total cost was just over $115. On April 22, I received an email from Chinook Florists that the bouquet was not delivered because no one answered the door or phone. However, the intended recipients were home all day with the phone on. I responded to the email to ask that they deliver later in the day the following day. The email came back undelivered indicating that no email address existed. I double checked the email and it matched the one sent and the one on the webpage. I called the number on their website the following day and told the woman who answered that order 5818 was not delivered. She said she could not get a hold of the driver and she would call me back. When she called back she told me that the flowers were delivered. I indicated that we had an email that told us they were not. She did not have an answer for that. I asked that the flowers be delivered that day. I called later in the day and no one picked up. I left a message indicating that the flowers were still not delivered and to call back. I have not received a call back. I am not getting a response on the number at all now.

    Date of transaction occurred March 13,2024. Purchased the Flower Parade arrangement for ***** with tax and tip the purchase total was *****. Order # ****. Upon follow up with the recipient of these flowers a pictures was sent to me showing that the flowers I ordered were not at all what was delivered. I did reach back to the retailer and was told that the Flower Parade arrangement could not be completed as ordered as the hospital does not allow for some flowers (at which no point is this indicated online when ordering) and so therefore sadly what was sent was simply a handful of tulips - NOT the beautiful arrangement as depicted on the website. I had tried to resolve this with the seller but they best they were willing to compensate me was 20% which it unacceptable. They have since neglected to respond to my emails.

    According to our policy, florists may change some flowers or containers. The customer ordered flowers which are prohibited in the hospital. That's why they were substituted with tulips. Our florist did her best to make it as similar as possible to the picture. We answered all calls and emails from this customer and explained the situation. Also, a 50% refund was processed according to our conversation (not 20% as the customer mentioned).
