DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Found first number on google search when I had locked myself out and I was in a rush as I had to get to work. Would not give quote over the phone as he said that he would need to appraise the door/lock first. Told me the Weiser lock I had on my door was unpickable (and told me I could google it if I didn't beleive him) and that I had to drill it out and replace it. Originally quoted $900, which I told him ** **** ***. I found the replacement lock on Home Depot's website for $154, and he then requoted me $600. As I was panicked and in a rush, I stupidly agreed to this cost. Only took him 15 minutes most. This guy is a ******* and is preying on people in stressful/helpless situations.

These guys are horrendous, told me a half hour, took an hour and forty minutes. I managed to unlock the door by myself within 5 minutes before they arrived. He yelled why did I not call to cancel. I refused to pay his $15 service fee as he did not introduce himself or ask what the issue was. My keys were still locked in the trunk and I was still willing to discuss this with the locksmith, he acted like a 6 year old child, at first saying I can not help with that as you won't pay the service call fee, then as he was walking away turned around and says, I could of gotten your keys out of the trunk. I said well then help me and I will pay for services provided, he stated he would rather lose money than help me and drove away. He then proceeds to yell go call another locksmith they will charge you way more, yet no fee was ever discussed! I called the main number and this guy yells at me for not cancelling. Well I would say I am glad I did not get scammed, give them any money as these are ****** at its finest! One star is still too many, can we give negative stars. ******** *** *********

1/5 stars is too high. I would never recommend this company. On the phone they refused to give me any kind of price range for their service but I was desperate and locked out in the cold so I agreed to have one of their technicians come out. They told me it would be a 20 minute wait but it took them over an hour to show up. It was -12 and snowing outside so if I had known it would take so long I would have looked for shelter or had someone pick me up. When the technician showed up they were able to unlock my door very quickly and then star told me it was going to cost $700. Obviously I refused to pay that because I knew that was ridiculous and eventually I ended up paying $250 (still way too much). Do not use this company.

HORRIBLE... DO NOT USE. They claim online and over the phone between $50-$75 , but need assess when they get there. I locked myself out of the car with super small kids, in -26 weather and was freezing . In a panic I called them because they came up first. They came and assessed and after spending 30 seconds opening the car they charged me $400.00. I was horrified and they would not reduce it at all, my kids were screaming as they were frozen, I was crying and they took my money and left. I am horrified by this service and am begging you to stop this business from providing this kind of service to any one else. This seems to be a theme among those that call them for help. I am so upset and will NEVER use them again. I encourage everyone to do the same.

I had the same experience as other leaving a review. I locked myself out of my bedroom. I called this company. The person on the other end said a technician would be right over. I asked for a price and he wouldnt give me one. I asked for a rough estimate and he would t give me one. He said I would have to ask the technician once he sees the situation. *************************************************************** The man answered and tried to pretend he was the dispatch person while I could clearly hear it was a person driving on his cell. He lied and said he just spoke to the tech and he was stuck in traffic and would be right there. I waited another 25 minutes and still no one. So I sent a txt to that number and they replied 10 min. He arrived 20 minutes later. After 1 hr 50 minutes he arrived. My key I had was the wrong key. **** ** **** *** ***** *******. He told me to replace the lock would cost $680. I looked at him and he then typed in his phone $590 then $480. I said I just need in my room I can buy a $65 lock myself. He then tried to charge me $360 to get me in. I said no. He then Typed $200 in his phone. He took out an air bag and 2 small crowbars and popped my door open in 30 sec. my total charge was $215. **** *** ** * **** *** **** ********* ******** *********. 24/7 services cost more I understand but he doesnt have a set rate for services like reputable business do. He wont tel you beforehand the pricing. His website looks legit. He definitely tried to take gross advantage of me and in the end still overcharged me. This guy needs to be shut down!!!

This company is a total ****. I was charged $180 to open my door in 30 seconds with a screwdriver and then was told that it was a $60 service fee, though the website (local247locksmith) stated a $15 service fee, ultimately he agreed to the lower price. 2 hours later, I received a call from the company's phone number with a man saying he was at my house, despite the service having been completed hours ago, he also sent me a text saying they could let me in for $65. I explained over the phone that someone had already been and he tried to charge me a $10 service fee for coming out??? When I said no, he hung up on me. This company is clearly operating under different names and making up outrageous prices. I don't even feel safe having these people know my address and phone number.

Also called local247locksmith.ca When youre in a pinch and panic sets in you ****** locksmith and somehow this company keeps popping up on top ads. I called them in 2021 as well, but didnt realize it was the same company. He doesnt tell you even as much as an estimate, just that it depends. It was 8pm so after hours does cost more, but a 20min drive, a 2min job, and charges me $400! I asked for a reduction and he said $350, but still charged me the $400. I was so upset i didnt notice. Plus, $350 is still too high! He said if I call him directly it can be cheaper rather than go to the website. But its the same number. He IS the website. I dont believe its a staffed company, but a one man service pretending to be bigger. I could be wrong, but theres something off. I would not recommend. Its unprofessional *** *** ******* ****** ****
