This moving company, lost some of my belongings, damaged my condo, and forgot to pack my small appliances. They refuse to reimburse me for the damage they caused, or compensate me for the items they lost or failed to pack. They are a clown show. Do not use them.

I am so happy that I chose Cargo Moving. The management and communication were excellent. They were respectful, experienced and totally professional. He effectively explained what needed to be done. The price was reasonable, with no surprises. I highly recommend this company to family and friends.

This was the worst moving experience ever, they promise to phone with updates asto when they are coming and don't, they never answer their phone, so far they have damaged our love seat broken pictures and we still don't have our second load. NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED

I recently moved from ******** to ******* and I looked for a reliable and good moving company and the first ones who called me was Cargo Movers *********************** was very friendly and professional and everything they promised happend for good.The movers were professional team on time and nothing damaged or lost.So if you looking for a moving company I recommend this guys!Lior.

Absolute clown shoes of a company. ***** from their finance department shouldn't be allowed near a phone - which is ironic because the major issues experienced was 0 communication.Pick up:Didn't show up within the pickup time given, when we called to find out why we learned they weren't even going to show When they did arrive it was almost 9pm Delivery:Quoted a price and then said we exceeded ****lbs and did not provide a weigh ****, there was other people's things in the truck on arrival. They said they had reserved a 11am ferry for Monday and would be at ours between 1-2 pm. Monday comes and (after taking time off work) it passes 2pm we call to inquire. We're told the movers 'weren't allowed on' and denied boarding. That isn't possible if you have a reservation and when I asked for proof they had even made that reservation I was met with a complete lack of empathy. I believe *****'s words were "You sound like the kind of person who when they make plans with someone at 12 they expect you there at 12 sharp"Which, since you yelled over and then hung up on me, I'll be perfectly clear in stating for you now: I'm the kind of person who, when given expectations a company sets and I take time off work to accommodate, expects to be notified when there is a delay without having to reach out first. My issue wasn't there were delays my issue were the lies, lack of communication and *****s inability to understand simple business concepts and you have her in charge of people's money? No wonder the numbers don't add up. But clearly in your favour.She also threatened to have the movers not board the ferry because we didn't pay in full before they arrived. I'm sure you'll be taking the 5 minutes to reply here- save it. Take that time and actually help your customers. I feel for the movers they send into these situations as they were kind and helpful Joke of a company. save yourself the headache. I'd rather make the 100 trips myself across BC then deal with them.

MANY DATE CHANGES,Lots of Damage to my belongings and EXTRA CHARGES I am writing this review to hopefully help Cargo movers improve their service and for those who are moving between provinces. In my case Calgary to Victoria! After narrowing down a few companies based on their reviews online and the initial quote I chose Cargo Movers. Initial info exchange and signing up agreement when very smoothly and friendly. We agreed on the date and time and I signed the agreement and paid the deposit. These guys will not give you a specific time and date till the day before the pick up. Dont book with them if you are having a tight commitment with your move dates (this might be just with long distance moves)The pick up went smoothly, the pick up crew in Calgary were nice, worked hard, loaded the truck in a very organized way and I watched ***** strapped them all tightly. Again I could not get a specific delivery date from them (had a 3 days window confirmed).The delivery date changed twice and it cost me flight change fees, ferry fee and accommodation. Even that both I and my neighbor (used Cargo Movers) both told them about the narrow drive to the house, They ignored our advice, brought a huge truck, had to carry all the furniture and boxes one by one up the hill ************* And they charged me extra $500 for the long distance carry. They did the same thing on the second delivery for my neighbor. I have pictures from when they opened the truck. Everything was thrown on top of each other. My bed base was broken, the bed frame and my bookshelf were dented/scratched heavily. My bike handle and gear was broken, my outdoor lamp was broken. AND I was charged 2.5 times the initial quote ! Which is too much of an error for an estimate. Their initial quote was for (Move Size: 2 Bedroom 4550 lbs) Makes me think the initial lower quote is a trap to get you to sign with them. This is a well run and efficient company. The staff is very professional and customers are well taken care of. They followed up a few days before the scheduled move to confirm we were all on track with the move, this was a nice touch. The movers came on time and the move went smoothly from beginning to end.
