I hired this company to assist with moving my mother to a seniors' home and helping her pack. Since I couldn't be there to help much, I relied on their services completelyand I'm so glad I did. They were incredibly reliable and did an outstanding job. My mother was very happy with them, which meant the world to me. I would definitely hire you guys again without hesitation. Worst movers I have ever hired. Gave one star because they did not give me the option for none. From a smaller, 2 bed house, not a big move and not a lot of furniture they managed to break a stand up mirror, a desk, an office chair, a picture and messed up 2 reclining couches as the guys were clueless in reassembling these. They were constantly on the phone to colleagues to get advice on putting these dismantled couches together, asked my contractor for tools to help fix them when things went wrong and then their supervisor denied any wrongdoing and tried to pass blame onto me. Unreal business ethics. Would never use them nor recommend them to anyone.

We hired Personal Movers to assist us in moving our furniture from the basement to the main level of our home, after renovations. Required no blankets, no wrapping, no unwrapping & no truck. During the course of moving the furniture (standard furniture pieces) from downstairs to upstairs, the movers caused significant damage to the stairwell walls, stairway caps & a brand new wood railing post. The damage was caused by moving a couch. The couch is a standard size leather couch & is now also damaged. We knew the couch had fit on the way down the stairs so it would of course fit on the way up. We suggested to them that the railing could be removed but they felt they could get around the railing. Eventually, they did remove the railing and the couch was brought up. Once we noticed the damages and pointed it out to them, they were very apologetic. The movers took photographs of the damage as requested by their Management. During discussions with the Management of this company, things went from bad to worse. They refused to take any responsibility for the damages or even discuss them with us until we paid their moving service invoice. They advised it was their policy to only talk about damages after they were paid for the service. While we objected multiple times, they BULLIED us into paying the moving invoice BEFORE the Management of Personal Movers would even discuss the damages, assuring us it would be looked after once the moving invoice was paid. They have now stated that the couch was the problem and therefore, they take no liability for any of the damages. Are you kidding me?!?!? Not their fault whatsoever???? Its a couch and a STANDARD size couch at that. It was very successfully moved to the basement level prior to renos without incident. Of course, if your move goes smoothly with no issue, you'll naturally be happy with the service. Just be aware if anything goes wrong, you'll get nothing.....even after you've paid their invoice.

We have used Personal Movers two times over the past 3 years. Each time, we were very pleased with them. They are professional, dependable & have very good rates. This time, our driver was ***. He did a great job organizing his team. They all worked well together & were very efficient.If I move again, I will definitely hire them for a third time!

They ensured all my belongings were safely secured and helped setting up the parts of the apartment I asked them to. Great service! Will definitely use them again and recommend to anyone I know moving.
