Early August I got my hair permed at Volume Salon. I explicitly told the hairdresser my hair is fine and I'm very careful with it and just grew it out 2.5 yrs from 2 inches. My hair is burnt and damaged right to the scalp. They wanted me to come in to fix it but it can't be!! Plus my anxiety is so high after this im not going back to the ppl who ruined it to begin with.makes 0 sense. I asked several other hairdressers what my options were...cut it right off and start again. However I spent approx another 100$ on hair masks and treatments to try to save it but it has to be cut right off. I asked them several times just to refund me. They refuse. I am not going back there!!!I am super upset and frustrated..this cost me 268$! And now have to shave my head!!!at least refund me for the pain and suffering!!!!

On August 9 2022 ****** had a perm done by one of our stylist. This was her second visit at our salon. Her fist visit was on February 16 2022 and she also had a perm with a different stylist. ****** was very happy with her service before she got to the front desk, her perm was $80 more then Her last perm. Out loud she said $250 for. ******* ********  There reason why ******’s perm was more then the first one was because it was one with a different stylist and two her hair was a bit longer and the stylist need to do a spiral perm to achieve the look she was going for, which takes a lot more time to do.
The same day we received a google message from ****** saying.

    “Got my hair permed yesterday..Tuesday and it's fried!!!!270$!!! And it's fried...absolutely ....**** *** * ******pics to follow”

“Fix and refund is what I'm thinking... at very least..wow.im so mad...I have fine thin hair that I baby for this very reason which I also told the hairdresser!!!super fine and fragile...burnt!!!!”

    Our reply

“Good morning ******, please wait the 48 hours to wash your hair after your perm. If you feel there is some dryness after the perm that is normal. We do recommend a haircut after your perm as some ends might be dryer and weaker then others. Please feel free to book a complementary follow up consultation for any concerns. “

    Her reply

“Well this is day 5 after my perm.i didn't wash my hair for 3 days.gave it intense conditioning and it's gross!!now I need to cut at least 2 inches but more like 3 in all reality.i am pissed..so now what???come I  so you can charge me for a haircut  sure will be a nitemare..what now???I am so mad...this tool me 2.5 yrs to grow with alot of baying and care.and it's wrecked in 2 hrs..who do I talk to about this?????besides ***???”

“I'm not really interested in coming in for a haircut. I'm not spending 1 more dime there and don't trust volume for a haircut.think that would be another mistake on my part.”

    Our reply

    “Good morning ******,
Would you like to come in for a follow up consultation? That way we can assess your hair properly and see what needs to be done. “

    Her reply

“And is this going to cost me??or??”

    Our reply

“No ******, no charge at all. We should book you a complementary haircut. And we’ll only trim off your dry ends as your trying to keep your hair long. What day works for you? And are you comfortable seeing ********? “

    Her reply

“I can come Wed I guess.has to be late morning tho.i don't have time any other time”

    Our reply

“Could you do 11am on Wednesday morning? “

    Her reply
    “Yes”

    Our reply

“Great! We have you booked in at 12am on Wednesday morning. We look forward to seeing you then! Thank you for your patience with us.”

On Wednesday ****** was booked for a complementary consultation and haircut that she didn’t show up for.

On sep 2 ****** sent us a few more messages.

“So my hair is 100% damaged from the perm I got there.4 hairdressers have said there's no saving it.im not coming back so you can "fix" it..I want a refund”

“I have had hair masks in my hair EVERY SINGLE DAY SINCE THIS CATASTROPHE...AND look at it...have to cut it all off!!!!and start over...in 1 hr 2.5  yrs is growth is gone. “

    Our reply

    “Hi ******,
You missed your appointment with us a couple weeks ago for us to take a look at your hair. Unfortunately we can not asses your hair over messages. Your hair does look a bit dry on the ends in the picture. Most likely trimming the ends will do the trick. “

    Her reply

At this point **** thought it’s been a couple months since we did ******’s hair and she’s given us a bad rep all over social media we’re still offering her to come in and show us her hair. We cannot issue a refund without touching and feeling her hair. Our clients happiness matters to us %100. If she is right and we did burn her hair to the scalp we would offer her more then her money back! Thank you for understanding.

    Best Regards
