The problem I am dealing with CDI College is about false information that I was provided about my tuition balance. I was advised in April of 2022 (my last term of the program) from the college's student financial planner, that my tuition was paid in full and that $2000 from my bursary was going to be sent back to student loans for an overpayment. After I was informed I sent an email to the Financial Administrator, to confirm my tuition and payments since the student financial planner advised via a phone call, however the Financial Administrator never responded to my email request. Now, seven months later, when I have completed the program I get an email telling me I have an outstanding balance and they are going to send my account to collections if not paid. I have reached out the Financial Administrator and the Director of Admissions and never will address the issue that I was informed my tuition was paid back in April as per the student financial planner, who now has left the college. I asked them to address the error, because if I knew I had an outstanding balance back in April I could have appealed my loan or setup a payment option then. But no monthly statement, nor notification was sent to me about this balance until I completes the program and I never got a response from email request made in April asking for a breakdown of tuition and payments. When speaking with the Financial Administrator she told me this is not the college's problem and that I need to pay.

I am rejecting this response because:this seems like an automated response. Nothing is being addressed to resolve the error made by the staff members in my tuition balance. You heard my complaint address it on how this college is going to fix it. I am tired of emailing back and forth and no one is solving this. I continue to get emails saying “I’m looking into this..” and then never a response.

    Sincerely,
    ***** ********

I enrolled into CDI college in Septembert 2020 and when I enrolled I was told there would be in classs learning. I have not recieved one single day of in class learning - it has been all online. I have also been locked out of my ecampus where I write my exams numerous times over monies CDI says I owe for books - I have only recieved 2 ebooks and they are asking 4000$ for those e books. It has caused a great deal of stress first because I feel like I do not have the support from my instructor as I log in and all learning is through a secondary app called test out. I would not of signed up to this course if I knew that there was no in class teaching and that I would be learning through a secondary application not owned and operated by CDI college. I feel like I have been taken advantage of during this time and am tired of being locked out of my studies for fees for books that I have not recieved. I feel like I was decieved from the beginning when I inquired about an IT administration course and was "upsold" into the cyber security speciaslist course which costs substanstially more and there is little or no support as it is all work at your own pace through a all digital platform. All my labs are digital which I feel do not give me the hands on experience needed to be successfull in this field moving forward.
