Bought a vehicle from Waterloo ford and Lincoln on the 23rd of may 2023, revives the vehicle on the 31st due to a delay in insurance First day I had the vehicle check engine light came on and off, told the dealership about it and they couldn’t do anything because it “went away” on the 31st same day I got it I had to do an oil change because the percentage on the dash showed 5% life remaining, with receipt. A week or so later car was having more issues and wouldn’t go over 30 at times and and would often shut off, told the dealer about this and to their struggle they couldn’t get me in to service for “it’s a used vehicle these things happen” that’s a text from the dealerships sales manager. After a month or so I had to get the vehicle towed to ***** *******, under fords advisory because for me the vehicle wouldn’t start anymore and or drive, the vehicle say in ***** ******* being taken apart for repairs under warranty, they told me at first - timing chain and camshaft are out of place and chain is stretched, so they billed me that under warranty, I accepted it and to work they should have went…. So I thought. after a month of it being there and waiting for the parts to come from being on back order they called me “******* *****” a tech named “****” said after taking off the valve cover he discovered a years build up of sludge clotting the engine and depriving the turbo, so now they won’t change out what they first told me they now want a whole new engine in the vehicle and turbo, but warranty will only cover ten thousand leaving me with a 6k dollar bill left to pay, when I’m covered up to 30k in three separate claims and they won’t help change it or do anything, I’ve been paying for the bi weekly payments and have had no vehicle and rental and or any help from either dealership

Paid 3192.00 for an extended warranty. Sold the car after two years in 2023. Extended Warranty was for 1000,000 km and 5 years. I wasn’t close to the basic warranty end date. Feel my money was stolen regardless of the ridiculous company policy. As the warranty wasn’t even in effect until after year 3 and 60,000 km. I paid for something that wasn’t in effect and did not cost the dealer any money. It’s disappointing as my vehicle life insurance was returned to me by the insurance company but an unused extended warranty is not.

April 28th I called about a vehicle and the sales person said he could hold onto the vehicle if I put a deposit down, so I did and also said if I had decided to not go with the vehicle I would get a refund. The 29th told them I wasn’t interested and wanted my refund. The sales person then told me they’d get ahold of their ******* ******* and I have not heard anything since. May 16th I tried to reach both the sales guy and ******* ******* and neither have got back to me. I just want my deposit back.

On October 18th I E-transfered 500$ to ******* * mucha to hold a pickup for me. Upon further investigation I wasn’t able to get the vehicle without a co-signer. They said a cheque would be mailed to me, never came, then said it would be e-transfered back to me, didn’t happen, then said they would cancel the previous cheque and send another one, didn’t happen, I’ve called them everyday or at least ever other day. I made a bad choice but the consequences were worse that I thought. I’ve lost 500$ that I could use on my daughters’ upcoming birthday parties.
