I took the truck in for repairs on a insurance claim through sgi for a new hood they did a good job on the paint. They also did a transmission swap from an auto to a manual transmission they also put new engine mounts in and a new oil pan gasket and some misc things. Once they were finished they called and said the truck was ready for pick up I asked if there was still a clunk in the driveline they said yes it was in the rear end so had to get the vehicle towed to a different shop where it was repaired. Once I picked it up from the other shop I had noticed that the unit was not reprogrammed like it was supposed to be big rig claims that they were locked out of the computer and could not do the reprogramming so once again had to take it to another since big rig said they were done with it that shop reprogramed the ecm they also had to rewire the transmission for the speedometer the cruise control the high idle to work but most importantly for the turbo to operate correctly. Not even 2 weeks later the bolts from the engine mounts snapped I called bug rig and they looked at it and claimed that to much torque was being transferred to the mounts causing them to break so no warranty is provided which I disagree with because the engine is still stock with the factory hp and torque settings. The bolts were most likely over tightend or there is something not right with the new Transmission install. I had also mentioned that the transmission doesn't seem to shift correctly and the responded that they have seen a few like that. They gave me an estimate on repairing the engine mounts once again for 500$ when the unit hasn't even been o the road for more then a months since it was repaired. There is also wires hanging all over and cut of that should if been dealt with bette On top of that I had them put 3m film o the front of the hood which is peeling off and they said that the sublet company who did it would warranty it but have not been in contact.

I am rejecting this response because: This is the same thing they told me before that the owner was on holidays I well accept the warranty for the 3m from there sublet company. The biggest issue I have is the truck was brought in for an insurance claim and it had a clunk I thought it was in the transmission so they did a Transmission swap then when the truck was returned there was more wrong with it then when it went in. I had spoke with Lester and he had said that the reprogramming was done and it was ready to go which it wasn't now there might be severe damage to the head since the turbo was not functioning properly. There is still loose wires hanging underneath the vehicle and the engine mount bolts that were onstalled have snapped either because they were put on to tight or the Tran.

ission was  on install properly I am still trying to find the time to bring it into a shop that can diagnose the issued with it.

    Sincerely,

    Complaint: 18596977

I am rejecting this response because: it was discussed  that they would take care of the reprogramming  I had contacted various shops and they had advised the the ecm did not need a refresh to do the reprogramming on the transmission  swap they would just need to switch the parameters from auto to manual  which they did not do. The speedometer along with the Jake brakes and the cruise control did not work after because they did not wire the vss up to the ecm causing the vgt turbo  to not function properly  which might of been why the engine  mounts broke or were over tightend  which is my opinion  since everything from the oil cap/filter were over tightend as well and needed to be removed with a pipe wrench. The extra wires were not dealt with either  leaving them hanging around.

I gad taken the truck back to them for the motor mounts and they said it was from to much engine torque  which is very unlikely since it is still the factory  horse power and torque settings.

    Sincerely,

See attached files proving that we wanted to send the unit out for reprogramming of the ECM due to us being locked out and not being able to change the parameters, and in turn that would be the issues with the Jakes, cruise and vehicle speed sensor. The VGT turbo issue is an issue on itself.  Turbos work off throttle position sensor and not vehicle speed sensor.  See attached documents from Adrenaline Diesel stating the the turbo issue is not related to vehicle speed sensor.  Engine mounts broke due to vehicle being tuned and deleted with added horsepower and torque.  If you want the hanging wires dealt with the vehicle can be brought back and we will deal with it and the 3M issue.

I am rejecting this response because:

These guys clearly  don't  know what they are talking about looks like a 3 grader writing these comments they had an ample amount of time to have the unit fixed the first time there is no hp upgrades it is a simple emmision delete file that has nothing to do with an increase of hp or torque  setting. I have had this truck for 6 years and never had an engine mount bolt break until they supposedly fixed replaced them which were installed incorrect. I well not let this shop touch my equipment  they have done enough damages to it already.
