    Business response

    Hi ****,

As explained to you on the phone, we sent your file to a collection agency as we had sent you multiple emails and left phone messages regarding the outstanding invoice and you did not respond to any of them. Once you got a call from the collection agency, you phoned us and said you forgot to call back when your staff gave you messages and you missed seeing our emails. I'm sorry but that is not our fault if we have made repeated attempts at contacting you.

We attended your business due to a leaking tap that you did not know the brand of or any information on. We informed you that we could not find parts at multiple locations and you told us you had ordered a new faucet online which would be arriving in the next month. You have claimed that we deliberately turned the cold water off (on ONE faucet) to sabotage your business and this is completely false. We also did repair other leaking parts and gave you the option to get the faucet replaced by something in stock and you declined. Unfortunately, we are not able to carry parts for every commercial faucet ever made.

Once you did make contact with us 2 months later, I offered to send a different plumber to have a look and I also credited you an additional $230 on top of the $57.50 credit that was initially given on your invoice, to appease you and be understanding of your situation. You sent several emails, threatening us with "the authorities" and your lawyer. We tried to rectify this situation with you on the phone and you kept changing your story that you had another company change the tap, then you said anything we did was left untouched as "proof" and nothing was making sense. If you had responded to our messages (email and phone) in December or January we would not have gotten to this point.
