I purchased a vehicle from this business. last summer. I was told that the vehicle that I was purchasing had the transmission replaced. Within the first week of driving the vehicle, I brought it back to them as there was a loud clicking noise coming from the front passenger side tire. They discovered that they had not tightened the bolts for the axel. He tightened these at no charge (obviously). I also had to have some work done to the vehicle in April 2022 (ie: alignment, replace rear wheel hub and hub assembly, replace front left control arm, etc). About one month ago, my vehicle started making a grinding sound from the engine. I called ****. I drove the vehicle to his shop and got a ride home, as they were busy. A week later, I still had not heard from him re my vehicle so I called. He told me that my vehicle needed a new transmission and was no longer drivable. I said "what do you mean, you replaced the transmission before I bought it from you"? I was then told that the transmission was not replaced, it was the engine that was replaced. He has no record of this though. So, I had it towed back to my home.I want the transmission replaced.

This vehicle was sold as a used vehicle to ****** in July  of 2021.  The vehicle was originally repaired in July of *********************************************************** the engine.  The vehicle was brought back after a month of purchase for a noise in the axel which required tightening of the link kit which was done free of charge.  This has nothing to do with a transmission of a vehicle.  ****** has recorded incidents of problems with this particular transmissions (CVTs) and they are not repairing or replacing them due to the faulty design of the transmission.  It has been a known ongoing problem with type of transmission with ******.  When we sell a vehicle used it is inspected before it leaves and we will fix issues within 30 days but do not guarantee issues after 30 days.
